No way. President Obama's motives are noble and unselfish. Just ask Keith Olbermann.

Obama's a human being and of course there's a danger he'll go overboard. But yeah, it's interesting that a Fox News person admits that Bush was exercising tyrannical powers LONG AFTER Bush is safely out of office.  Where was all this vigorous oversight for eight years?!?!

Harley, olbermann is no more credible than rush because of his rhetoric. That is why repubs and conservatives dislike him. His show is a dedication to cheap shots and trite useless comments about Fox news or Bush, the worst kind of pom-pom waving. fingerpointing, hindsight is is 20/20, trash. He has a national audience and resorts to his lame shtick garbage like worlds worst which invariably includes Rush, O'Reilly, Bush and any other repubs/cons he can think of. That is why I don't care for him(his show is like reality TV-lame entertainment value only), and why folks who want to be considered credible should not quote him as a news source....

Olbermann or Rush are not the topic of this thread.  So, I ask again, why do you radical unhinged righties always obsess over Olbermann?

You only need to examine your obsession with Sarah Palin and her family to answer your question. Even MMFA removes your posts they are so hateful and trite. Have you suddenly developed standards, now you questions others for the same behavior you display time after time. I can see you live by the rule "do as I say , not as I do".  You stay classy, Harley.

HARLEY, For years the RIGHTIES were getting away with their lies and slander and no one was calling them out on it. OLBERMANN was the first one on cable tv that I saw challenge  them and they don't like anyone trying to do that. The RIGHTIES think it is a crime to question them on polocy issues.

Yeah, I remember Jarrett railing away on a nearly daily basis on Faux News against Dubya's unprecedented seizure of political power. He constantly warned us of the dangers of allowing the Bush Maladministration the ability to ignore the Constitution, to wiretap the entire population without a warrant, and to lead a war of aggression against a forign nation that did not threaten us.

Sure he did, the smug little prick.

This is about as sincere as the constant ranting concerning Obama's use of a teleprompter.  As if Dubya didn't rely on one to order breakfast from the fricking White House cook.

It's waaaaaayyyy too late for these guys to tell us that they are concerned about the abuse of executive power.  They spent eight years inventing excuses for Bush's Fascism and calling anyone who questioned his arbitrary expansion of the Executive Branch's authority a traitor to be taken seriously now.  All Obama is trying to do is clean up the mess left behind by the Bush-Cheney regime, or as some of us are prone to call it, the Fourth Reich.

Put this up there with "Obama uses Air Force One to Travel!" and "Obama Takes Vacations!" as Exhibit C in the No Limit To Rank Hypocricy Evidence pile.

So is Jarrett, in fact conceding that Bush DID exploit a crisis to expand his power? For anyone at Fox to ascribe anything but the purest motives to Bush (or any other Republican) is so far outside their job descriptions that I expect a retraction to follow shortly, or Jarrett to be fired.

In a political crisis such as the Republicans are now experiencing, they are MORE than willing to survive by cannibalising one of their own.

I defy ANYONE to find ONE quote of Jarrett's about how Bush was guilty of "exploiting a crisis to expand his power".

      ONE.

Those three words were deliberately put in there for that reason.  The savages at FOX NEWS CHANNEL knew that people would immediately bring up the outrageous abuses of power and the taking advantage of the climate after 9/11 that the Bush Administration is guilty of, so some little Eichmann over at FOX NEWS CHANNEL put that in the teleprompter, probably on the orders of Fat Roger or John Moody or one of their underlings.

      THANK YOU.
