Ugh. Do people dust off their copies of Atlas Shrugged during every recession??
I must think that someone else highlighted this passage for Rush because I cannot imagine him having interesting in what anyone else has to say except himself.
Wow.
A man with the intellect of a high-school sophomore quotes a book written for high-school sophomores.
Sounds about right.
Rand is just a boring Nietzsche; they both preached the same self-centered, amoral, end-justifies-the-means, power-is-everything kind of irresponsible BS. I honestly have no idea why anyone would read Rand when they could be reading Nietzsche instead. His philosophy may have been every bit as reprehensible, but at least he had a gift for vivid language and powerful imagery; Rand is just painfully dull.
