Hannity says Obama "sleeps with his teleprompter... Is the teleprompter between him and his wife, or is it on the outside, one on each side?"

So, Hannity uses cue cards instead?

Do you know how important are the words of the President of the United States, when he speaks formally and Officially to the American People, and for that matter, to the people of the world (whether he intends to be speaking to them or not)...

And I don't refer only to the general impression the President means to make by his words, but the exact impression each and every word makes, when he speaks formally and Officially...

Do you know how important those words are?

Of course you do... you're not stupid... and this hannity guy, I can't say how stupid he is, but only that I think he goes on about the use of teleprompters, because he hates President Obama with a great passion.

Or he hates him merely because it's his highly paid job to hate him: either way it's hatred just the same.     

 

As an added note: to speak off the top of your head (as the expression goes) in important and serious matters, is to take a great risk in those matters: as what if you forget to make one of several points, or mention one of several details? 

It can happen easily, there are many reasons for it: not all people maintain an absolute perfect memory and perfect speech, when speaking in Public on any matter, before any group large or small... and the chances that you might neglect something in your speech (when you speak off the top of your head), or might otherwise mispeak, those chances are made the greater, the longer the speech is that you make, or the more points and details there are that you make in it. 

What will you do if you neglect to mention a point or detail in such an important Public speech, or otherwise mispoke, because you spoke from the top of your head?

Will you stop abruptly as you leave the lecturn, and turn swiftly back, and say hurriedly "Oh, I forgot to mention, I meant to add, and I should have said..."

Or every bit as bad, will you be required to issue a memo or statement afterward, that you forgot to mention or meant to add or should have said this or that instead?

 

I think it's really beneath the intelligence of most of us, to wonder why the President speaks word for word an exact and prepared speech, when he speaks formally and Officially to the American People, and the people of the world.

And to not so much wonder about the matter, but to instead try and ridicule it, is not so much a demonstration of ignorance I think, as one of hatred.

 

Faux apologists, please tell us what is wrong with using a teleprompter.  We'll wait for your detailed thesis.  

At least he does not sleep with Rush Limbaugh pajamas on in between two Ann Coulter books like Hannity does.
