  The CRA was not responsible for the mortgage crisis. To claim otherwise is either ignorant or a blatant attempt to blame all the wrong people.

    You are absolutely correct, the CRA was not to blame but it was the seed that started the process, in itself it was a noble idea. There were MANY other factors involved. The easing of lending standards and the banking deregulation during the Clinton Admin. for example. Greenspans policies, the SEC, rating agencies, Wall st's derivitives, the dems resistance to Fannie and Freddie reform ,many things.

  And, please Mr. Dobbs, can you provide a transcript? A video of Frank and or Dodd saying that if you didn't loan money to minorities that people were racist? Oh wait. You can't? Enough said.
  
  Dobbs, the only person that is a racist in this little conversation that you're having is yourself, and not about this issue, but about "brown" people in general.

  Where are all of the comments now that the racism quotes have been posted? And those quotes do not include the actions of Acorn, who was protesting at banks and bank execs homes with racism cries.And speaking of Acorn , it is also strange that MMFA has not done any stories on Sen Conyers intentions to investigate Acorn. And he is also saying they might be involved in voter fraud not just registration fraud as is always reported here.
