I think he does it for money. He and coulter and sean and savage do not really believe in anything. There is a market. And he sells to the market.
'They' get blocked on cable. I mean they cannot give rush or anne a show. sean plays a game that somehow lets him stay on cable. sean can lie every day. But sean cannot say chop a dick off a me.
It is amazing to me that rush can make more money on radio than sean can on tv. Of course sean does both. And of course, sean got his job because of rush. Each knows what the other does and how they do it.
rush can stay banned from cable and get on cable every single day. Where cable screws up is in the area of coverage. They give rush play on the 'I despise the President" spiel, but they do not replay the 'anti woman campaign'.
If mainstream cable would report the reality of rush as you do, rush would lose credibility.
Keith O does of course. But he is the exception.
I am rambling when I should come to the point. Media Matters really is providing a service. That is why I come here all the time. Every week.
Somebody has to watch what the 'media' is doing and you are doing that job.
I sing your praises every week, sometimes every day at TPMCafe.
