Wow, that was really fair and balanced!!

And the level of professonal journalism was quite astounding.

Sure, Glenn had a little sewage seepage dribbling down his chin, but, Hey!, it's not a perfect world.

This is a NEWS organization? Give me a break.

It's not enough that these "Tea Parties" were created by endless buckets of propaganda from morons like Hannity, who, having promoted them, interviewed participants and alerted viewers and listeners and then let his viewers and listeners know when the next parties would be held.  Now we have what claims to be a NEWS network urging viewers to CELEBRATE "tax day tea parties."

Some of these guys have in the past criticized Walter Cronkite for his criticism of the Vietnam War, claiming that he was being an advocate, not a journalist, when he reported honestly on the war.  How do they possibly continue that criticism after pulling crap like this?

When did these morons become so interested in criticizing the government, anyway?  Oh yeah- January 20. 2009.  Before then, critics of government were "useful idiots" or just plain "traitors."  Meanwhile, the Bush Administration wiretapped, tortured, etc.-- with these choads being his most loyal cheerleaders.   I guess if Bush had threatened Upper Class Tax Cuts, we might have seen some of this between 2001 and 2009.  You know, somehow I doubt it.

If you continue your own Party’s rhetoric you will miss the truth. All I ever hear about is how wrong the other Party is and how they are attacking the other Party. Both “Parties” are over, the truth will come out and neither Republicans nor Democrats will come out on top of the trash pile that is D.C.

Instead of looking for villains in the media or the opposing Party, why don’t you open your eyes to the truth of it all and admit that both Parties are mostly puppets of special interests and Central Banksters or is it more fun to support a Party rather than supporting America instead?

Your idea that there is any equivalency in these two groups is more than a bit disingenuous.  We are at war, have a new President, and it is our constitutional right to hold Republicans responsible when they cheat on the facts.  Look, I am a moderate Republican so do not include everyone in your statement regarding holding one's own party responsible for fairness and accuracy.  Republicans seem to have lost their patriotism, and in fact, they seem to have lost their way the last 8 years.  I am sad to say we have few good leaders with the exception of moderate Republicans.  In this time in our history, the far right news folks seem to be the the true trouble makers in the Republican Party to the point that many of my fellow moderate Republicans have left the party.  Still, the same old problems seem to get even worse by the day.

How does this issue compare with the Boston Tea Party? What's the analogy there? Have they thought this thing through?

        Look at http://www.the912project.com

Basically, it's an anti-Obama demonstration disguised as anti-government.

The funny thing is that I agree with many of the points these people are ostensibly making - it's just that since I KNOW that they would never have said a peep under Bush if the same thing was done, I refuse to aid them in their anti-Obama efforts.

It's not just that. It's that they talk about these ideas that they want to espouse, and don't really do them. Beck is a classic example. Their 9 principles are nice and all, but Beck doesn't resemble any of them, nor does he adhere to the principles he puts forth.

This, um, doesn't compare with the Boston Tea Party at all. It pains me to think that these jokers somehow equate themselves with our Founding Fathers, when, if the Founding Fathers were alive today, and active in politics, they'd be turning their venom towards them I would guarantee 100 percent.

That's right. If anything, it is a direct comparison to the actions of King George and the east india company. So by default this means these modern day tea baggers want to return to colonial rule under a single king...

Great. Now this clown is coming to my city with his freak show. Why do people think the Alamo is an appropriate place to spew their propaganda?

Wow, even Greta Van Susteren, the Fox news personality most often cited by Fox apologists (now that Alan Colmes is gone) when critics say the network is biased.

How many Fox news watchers even realize Obama is cutting taxes for most Americans? Only $240k+ earners like those Fox News personalities will see any kind of tax increase.

Wake up, you are sleeping. You can’t raise spending and lower taxes, it is illogical to consider otherwise. One way or another you are taxed more and unless you can raise the price of goods to pass on the cost to consumers but rather are a consumer, you are taxed more. You are also taxed through the most insidious of all taxes, the hidden tax of inflation every time they print money.

Spending has been on a steady rise for ages, worse in the Clinton administration, much worse in the Bush administration and by all accounts looks to be even worse yet in the Obama administration. Your government spends too much, taxes too much and recent estimates peg it at 50% of your income, if you like that, keep voting for Democrats and Republicans.

You know, that's your opinion, and you have every right to it, but this is news coverage we're talking about.

I think you'd agree there was very little complaining from Fox News when Bush was slashing taxes and growing government. Why weren't they hosting tea parties then?

And facts like tax policy still count. Obama is cutting taxes for most Americans, and anyone who watches Fox News would have a hard time sussing that out. This coverage is biased no mater what you think of the tea parties.

I wish that were true. I am an Independent who will attend a tea Party and I think both the Red and the Blue need to get their heads out of there bum and listen to the people. I swear, if I see one person touting Republicans or Democrats as saviors I am going to verbally berate their respective ”Party” till they cry.

Wake up America, the “Party” is over and both the Red and Blue had better realize it. People who support either popular Party need to look around at what has become of America thanks to our one Party system masquerading as two and they are merely different sides of the same greedy, big government coin.

          Oh, WAAAAH!!

Another "Independent" [read: libertarian] here to lecture us about the "evils" of the two-party system . . .

          Couple things you should know: I'm not impressed with somebody calling themselves "independent" because 1) since Obama took office "independents" have been literally coming out of the woodwork, and 2) Bill O'Reilly also refers to himself as an "independent" {and he's right; independent of facts, that is.}

You think the two-party system is "over" - well, what do you propose, a one-party one?

If you're planning on starting a third party, here's a word of advice: Instead of proclaiming your party as the savior every four years, try building a base by running candidates in local/state elections EVERY year, instead of going for the one big national office . . . that way, people will see you and judge you on your merits . . . this way, you may not win the presidency but at least you'll be take seriously - a lot moreso than by "verbally berating [other parties] until they cry" . . .

          .

Is it just me or is their arrow pointing to San Antonio actually pointing closer to Houston?

Well, if they put the arrow accurately where San Antonio is, then the box would be in Mexico, and this is for AMERICA and REAL AMERICANS, not none of dem der illegal immigrants. Better to be inaccurate than "unAmerican," as Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck prove nightly.
