After criticizing people alleging that Poplawski "killed three cops because he thought Obama was coming to take his guns," Mike Gallagher proposes "a national movement to register as many people as we can ... to become gun owners"

      Hey Mike the last person the lunatic talked to claimed he was worried about Obama taking his guns.  This is not a made up left wing blogger story:

      Poplawski had feared "the Obama gun ban that's on the way" and "didn't like our rights being infringed upon," said Edward Perkovic, his best friend.

      Perkovic, 22, said he got a call at work from him in which he said, "Eddie, I am going to die today. ... Tell your family I love them and I love you."

        Apparently Gallagher doesn't read or listen to the news. This point was covered in-depth by the local and national press.

        The killer was a killer who had guns. No one wants to take anyones guns away. I wonder how Gallagher would feel if any of relatives lived next to a nut like Poplawski with a house full of guns.

      Doesn't Florida have the highest percentage of legal gun ownership and the lowest percentage of violent crime?

          Interesting, Florida and Texas are 2 and 3 in violent crime and both states have very liberal gun laws in the country.

        Obama has been telling the American people this, but of course, right wing screech monkeys seem to saying that he "could" or is "going to" take your guns away, even though, he's not proposed any such thing, nor has anyone else in the Obama administration.

      Let's face it, some of these guys will not stop even AFTER the first attempt on Obama.  I know no one should be saying that.  But I think we all know where this is headed.
