The guy with the dead intern in his office, he got it right: "As soon as pat buchanan and lou dobbs get through with the American People, get through working on them by way of the Public Airwaves, then they'll be mad at illegal immigrants, you betcha!"

It's just Standard Operating Procedure to these guys, to bait you into taking the side of and defending, people who are breaking the Law, and who are otherwise (under many present circumstances) guilty of a crime, the crime of being in this country illegally... don't take that bait! If you want to reform immigration laws, then argue reforming those laws: if you want to provide a path to citizenship for immigrants who have no legal right to be in this country, then argue that point... both of those arguments (reforming immigration law and providing a legal path to citizenship for otherwise illegal immigrants), both of those things will find a very wide and popular acceptance in this country... but to be baited into defending illegal activity is just stupid: your opponent just looks you square in the face and says every time "You're promoting illegal activity! You're pro-crime! You're advocating breaking the laws of this country!"

Why let your opponent dictate the terms of your argument: why be pinned into a corner of defending illegal activity: why not just admit to the point of fact (the fact that those immigrants who are in this country illegally, are obviously breaking the law), and then immediately swing the argument to the point you wish to make, about reforming immigration law and about citizenship.

That's how you rally the American People to your side of this argument, and thereby win it in the process...

The other way, of taking the side of illegal activities, just alienates sensible people, in addition to playing into and being bated by, the tired old tricks and techniques of lou dobbs and pat buchanan.

This is my letter to MSNBC this morning.

HiSeen Morning Joe this morning with John Ridley and I thought it was the most HORRIBLE thing I've ever seen on this show.First I would say, that I really did enjoy watching Morning Joe during the campaign.  After Jan. 20th the show has been unbearable to watch.  I seen John Ridley was going to be a guess, I was happy because I love some of his article on Huffington Post.  But it turn out to be a disaster.  Wrote to John this morning and explain to him I was very disappointed on the way he handle himself with Joe and hoping he would not return back on Morning Joe.  I could see in John face that he was getting upset and frustrated.  Joe ask John his opinion with the Republicans and Obama Administration.  When John wanted to explain his views, Joe didn't let him get a word in.  Joe started with his every day line, about Obama spending which is getting old.  Than what really got me so upset and shock was how Joe started to mock Obama as being a man of wonders and could solve everything.  I was shock and felt this is unacceptable. Second, I'm trying to figure why would your let liberal or Dem come on this show if Joe won't let them make their comment.  I see this guy as a bully and it's distasteful.  He asks them for their opinion and once they start their talking points, Joe over talk them and become very disrespectful at his guess.  Third and finally, Morning Joe is a horror show.  The bashing of Obama for 3 hours is unbearable.  FoxNews in the morning isn't as bad as Morning Joe.  Yes, I do change the channel once Joe start his bullying and same old line about Obama spending.  To be honest, FoxNews is getting better than Morning Joe and I'm a liberal.  Cathy
