      So contributing to your own Social Security acct is now considered a tax for the purposes of justifying gov't welfare?  And people who receive more money from gov't than they pay in, through EIC and the like, are still receiving a "tax cut"?  That's a pretty good stretch to not have to call it what it really is....welfare.

        Yes, just like contributing to the upkeep of your own roads, police, schools, and armed forces is considered a "tax".
