Reporting on tea parties, Fox Business' Willard asks: "Guys, when are we going to wake up and start fighting the fascism that seems to be permeating this country?"

Again, he's just being "fair and balanced"....riiiiiiiight?
Where did they unearth this guy? From the local univerity's College Republicans?
But for Fox, these parties are just hours and hours of programming that their viewers will consume with delight.
April 15th, 2009: The Tea Party to end all tea parties!
Hundreds attend. Millions don't.
Fascism??? That is the right-wing description of a Democratic liberal president.
Fascism apparently has nothing to do with a prez & vp that expands executive powers, holds prisoners without trial and lies about starting a war.
Friggin SORE LOSERS!
"HUNDREDS gather in boston to protest taxes, spending."
You'd think that since Boston is where the first Tea Party took place there'd be more interest. But then again, these teabaggers of today bear no resemblance to those who actually put their asses on the line when they threw tea into Boston Harbor in 1773.
These teabaggers are spoiled, easily led, know nothings doing the bidding of the Republican Propaganda Network, Fox News.
"HUNDREDS gather in boston to protest taxes, spending."
Wow, weeks of promotion on a 24-hour-a-day 'news' channel and this is Fox News' turnout!
The time of day indicated in this video clip is 12:44 EDT, and the Fux used car salesman is on the Boston Common, at lunch time, on a sunny and pleasant day... the few people behind him, who seem worse than disinterested, they seem embarrassed (notice how in the background the people are turned away from the camera, like they didn't want to be seen, despite the antics of the used car salesman and the fact that the camera is filming him), those few people represent an insignificant fraction of the many people who are enjoying the sunshine on the Boston Common during their lunch break.
What a joke.
The Fux salesman looks like at any minute he'll roll up his sleeves, and start pitching some kind of "Nature's Miracle Cures" book, or maybe start selling specially minted commerative coins of the historic occasion...
What a sham, what a bunch of hucksters these people are.
There must have been many thousands of people on the Common at that moment, paying no attention to and even avoiding the Fux sales pitch... like I said, the few folks in the background look strangely unwilling and disinterested.
The same is true of the County Fair item about this same Fux salesguy, on that same Boston Common, at lunch time also: that other video is time-stamped 12:16.
A great day for the Fock You Channel...
You can almost see the sewage dripping down this guy's face.

Well... if you take the average of a few hundred in each of the 300 cities that showed up....
That's like.... 90,000 brain dead.....er I mean people across the nation!
Of course... I have no doubt that Glen Beck, BillO,Sean and the rest of the dunderheads at FoxNoise will claim that millions.... scratch that....
MILLIONS.... and MILLIONS.... showed up to.... um... party? Look stupid? protest? Drink tea? All the guys will pull their pants down and tea bag the lady next to them... or the nearest FoxNoise....um 'reporter' ?
All the guys will pull their pants down and tea bag the lady next to them...
*LOL*
Conservative men don't have the balls to do that, Col.
Uh, that's supposed to be Capt...
I'm having trouble with my post targets today...sorry...
Hundreds on tax nitwits in Pittsburgh outside my officeas I type this
They've been going for an hour and a half so far.......hmmm, had this been a dem protest others would say we should get a job.
Don't these people have jobs? Or are they just people who are sucking the life out of our government by collecting unemployment checks?
</sarcasm>
It seems that the answer is sometimes no...
....She lives on her Social Security and disability benefits...

The article mentions that she anticipates over 2000, they ended up with only hundreds...
Sorry, I've been wanting to tell some right wing nutjob to get a haircut since 1970 when they yelled at me to get a haircut.
But I wasn't a fascist creep, just an average commie bastard.
I bet conservatives hate that day more than September 11th.
- tman418
That's.... September THE 11th...
Shesh... didn't W. teach you anything?
That guy is an embarrassment, even for Fox.
Looks like Prince Valiant was using his :30 of national airtime to audition for a guest gig on Glenn Beck.
Poli-Sci 101
Political philosophy if viewed properly shows that on the left, socialism/communism is more closely aligned to facism than anything on the right side. Conservatism leads to libertarianism and anarchist permutations. On the left, facism is a forced blending by government of the private sector. On the right, individual freedom is valued above the wisdom of government control. Look around lefties and see who your commrades really are!
Class dismissed!
Considering reich-wingers are afraid of college and too stupid to attend, here is the reality:
kawasaki,
Thanks for being another fine example of our public school systems (in)ability to educate.
Trotsky and others looked upon facism as a phenomenom of an individual controling capital and destroying the bourgeoise, instead of doing it by uprising of the proletariat. Same outcome though, and they admitted that, that capitalism and the freedoms it provided had to be overthrown.
Reich-winger,
Thanks for being another fine example of home schooling's (in)ability to educate.
Fascism and Communism are both anti-liberal. Don't let facts and reality stand in the way of your ignorance.
djnate: Drop whatever you are doing right now. Go to the store. Get a clue.
Extreme right-wingism is facism. Like, say, the Nazi Party?
The Nazi Party is generally described as being at the extreme or far right of the left-right political axis; however in two dimensional models, such as the political compass, the Nazi Party is categorized alongside both radical left-wing and radical right-wing parties as authoritarian.
I'll bet you think the German Democratic Republic (DDR) was a democratic republic, too.
Look it up.
Don't baffle 'em with facts DJ...
It will just blow their minds.
He hasn't offered any facts, just BS.
Oh my, did you see all those crazy people fighting, screaming, turning over cars and burning buildings. Oh yea that is right, they were peaceful. I guess that protest group will not make NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN or any other mainstream media reports, they were too nice.
Are you going to spend all day running from blog to blog posting your same stupid rant? Shouldn't you be Tea Bagging?
Yeah, quite the civil and peaceful bunch:
CNN's Roesgen grills tea party protestor who calls Obama a "fascist," says protest "highly promoted by the right-wing conservative network Fox"
Harley, yes, why not? My Tea Party does not start till 5pm, so till then I can enjoy how upset you all are with the protests.
Please do not confuse derision for 'upset'.
Thank you.
I'm not upset....at all. Our country has a Democratic Majority. I'm quite happy. Apparently you reich-wingers are real upset, that's why you're protesting the Democratic Majority.
These tea parties aren't the same as happy hour.
Get your social drinking straight!
Willard does need a haircut.
...and then a lobotomy.
I wonder what the Obama FCC is up to?
Maybe it's time to really give these Cons something to scream about.
No doubt, Obama is a socialist. He's going to raise taxes on our wealthiest citizens to a level so they're still about 10 percentage points LOWER than were for most of REAGAN's presidency.
Think about that a minute tea party goers, and then try to realize what an embarrassment you are.
I remember reading CNN's coverage of these tea bagging events.
One gentleman interviewed said he was 44, worked in litigation, and this year when he did his taxes, he complained that he paid the same amount in taxes that he did when he graduated college.
Now, assuming that he graduated college 20 years ago; assuming that he is now gainfully employed - he's complaining that his tax bill hasn't gone up in 20 years.
WTF? Are these people idiots?
Don't answer that...
Since Fox has so much riding on this tea-party scam, I would not be surprised one bit if they paid people to show up at these parties today.
<a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/2765215.stm">BBC - Mon 17 February 2003
<i>"...up to 250,000 people took part in a final event in San Francisco..."
"...The demonstration in London was the biggest in the UK capital's political history, with nearly two million taking part, organisers said, although police put the figure at 750,000..."
"...In Barcelona, Spanish police estimated that up to 1.3 million people marched, with around 200,000 in Seville and more than 600,000 in Madrid..."
"...[Rome] police estimated that 650,000 took part..."

I happened to tune into Fox today and was horrified. They are not reporting on the teabaggers, they are instigating a revolution.
A revolution based upon a Bush tax structure and the potential horrors of going back to the Clinton tax code, where the richest 1% paid more of their fair share.
Just to make sure I wasn't missing a huge event, I checked to see what MSNBC and CNN had, as the Fox coverage was totally partisan and non-stop. They were doing their regular reporting, as I expected.
This lunacy has to end. They have gone over the edge. And now, on Yahoo! their front page is talking about this growing revolution.
I hope the MSNBC shows absolutely slam Fox tonight.
Though not as biased as FNC, they're headed in that direction.
One more thing, who knew that Fox defined fascism as corporatism?
They are allegedly concerned with business being in bed with government? Since when? Certainly not during the Bush and Reagan regimes.
I just posted the following on the Fox News website. I am planning a personal boycott of every one of their sponsors. It would be nice to see this organized by a group that has the resources to compile a full list, with contact information for each sponsor:
---------------------------
Today, one of your reporters called our government fascist. His definition was government being in bed with business.
Excuse me, but if that was the definition, what about all of Bush and Cheney's friends enriching themselves in Iraq, to cite just one example. Bush and your party ONLY cared about business interests, which is why we are in this mess.
It is my belief that Richard Poplawski, a right-wing terrorist who murdered 3 police officers, was inspired by Glenn Beck, among others. I watch the way you incite people to rise up against this government. You want the president and country to fail and your 'news' is now just 24-hour punditry, trying to agitate this country, in my opinion, to violence.
That is why, as of today, I plan on a personal boycott of every one of your sponsors.
I hope others do the same.
You have crossed the line from journalism to something disgusting and extremely un-American.
You no longer are in the majority. Get over your extremist ways, or you will never attract another moderate or independent again.
I ldidn't believe that Cody Willard was a reporter when I saw a shorter version of this.
I thought that Fox News had just asked an organizer to speak on camera.
I know this won't get posted but I have a question for who ever reads this.......WHY DON'T YOU MONITOR MSNBC AND KEITH OLBERMAN AND CHRIS MATTHEWS. OH I HAVE THE ANSWER BECAUSE MEDIA MATTERS IS A LEFT WING WACKO SITE!!!!!
MMFA does report on Olbermann. He is just less of a D-Bag than his counterparts on FauxNoise.
