I didn't click the video clip, but yes the name "czar" is strange... I don't know to what degree the word "czar" is used officially in this particular instance, of U.S. and Mexico relations, but it has in the past been an Official title I believe.
Of some interest: the word "czar" is directly derived for Caesar... that's what czar means, Caesar.
And as I consult my Merriam-Webster's 11th Collegiate Dictionary (the absolute Gold Standard of our language), I'm confirmed of that etymology, and see that the meaning is...
czar, 2: One having great power or authority
However great the power and authority of Caesar was, I don't know why we would continue to invoke his name at that power and authority, all these years later, and from a continent and a language once removed (and in the case of language, more than once removed: as French is the language from which more English words are derived than any other, I believe).
Yup, I think Fox News is correct in this assessment.
Which means that the Fed Govt should now shut down the official opposition news agency, Fox News, as any good communist regime would do.
These FNC hosts are idiots.
The sad thing is that the issue is an important one. I don't like that the use of these "czars" has gotten so common in the past decade or so, it is to me an unfortunate expansion of executive power.
Too bad these morons don't really care about that.
