See? That is the conservative litmus test of a true thoughtful woman: Could she make it as a hooker?

Now we know how someone like Megyn Kelly got her job at Fox News

Except that, you know, she has a job at CNN.

Ah yes, bringing out the persecuted majority again Mikey? What a freakin' joke. The refrain I kept hearing time and again from tea party protesters was about how they didn't want to pay for someone else, as if people who weren't there somehow didn't have a job and didn't pay taxes and all.

Amazing that a mainstream poltiican no less the Governor of a large state like Texas would appear on the Savage show, a show designed to spew hate.

As  native Dallasite, no one claims Good Hair Perry - he got in by the fluke of Ann Richards losing to the war-monger criminal W.  He will be gone, but someone needs to run against Hutchinson.  LIKE A DEMOCRAT - get Texas back to its democratic roots!

It's funny when the same or even worse tactics of bill o'liley or s__t hannity (yelling or cutting people off during their point), the wingnuts praise then.  Again right wing hypocricy at it's best.

I am still waiting for your reply to my Glick comments from yesterday. It seems you are hiding from them. But I am not surprised because you ( and he) are dead wrong once again. You asked for proof and then ignore the proof, good tactic and quite typical.

In typical fashion of an empty headed wingnut, You directed you comment to the wrong person.  I didn't challenge you to name truths or falsehoods.  It was another poster.  I only called you a false compassionate schmuck for attacking someone who lost his father on 911.  Get a real life creep.  Leave us alone and go to the freeper website.  That's where you belong.

What? That O'Reilly insulted him, and the memory of his father, shouted him down, and then cut his microphone? You mean, that Glick comment?

Who Glick? Meaning, that Bill O'Reilly knows more about his Dad then he does? Because I'm pretty sure that was O'Reilly's point of contention in his "interview" with Glick. He told O'Reilly that his Dad would have disagreed with him totally and completely at which point, O'Reilly became unglued.

So do you also agree with Glick's comments in that interview such as his claim about Bush training the mujahadeen?

GLICK: ... is that in -- six months before the Soviet invasion in Afghanistan, starting in the Carter administration and continuing and escalating while Bush's father was head of the CIA, we recruited a hundred thousand radical mujahadeens to combat a democratic government in Afghanistan, the Turaki government.

Glick has every right to be against the invasion of Afghanistan. I'm beginning to ask myself what exactly is our mission there and what have we accomplished.

But the Turaki government was not exactly a democracy, but at the same time they weren't oppressing, killing, or imprisoning any one until the population became upset with their liberal reforms and launched attacks. And the Carter administration began providing help to the mujahadeen at around 1979ish, and yes, before the Soviets invaded, so that we could get the Soviets to invade and give the Soviet Union "their Vietnam". It did in fact escalate under Reagan and Bush (Bush as Vice President). GHWB was only the director of the CIA from 1976 to 1977 under Ford.

Of course, several mujahadeen were radical Islamic extremists, but, oh well... helping the Afghans fight the Soviets definitely contributed to the collapse of the Soviet Union. And the Soviets basically committed genocide when they invaded.

The only thing we did wrong was completely ignore Afghanistan afterwards, allowing to fall into Civil War and then turmoil, leading to the Taliban.

Glick can have whatever opinion he wishes to have... somehow, I think his opinion is more grounded in reality than anything O'Reilly spews. And if I was Glick and O'Reilly told me to 'shut up' I would have gotten right in his pasty face and cussed him out right there. And if he laid so much as a finger on me I would sue his ass to death. Guaranteed.

I am no Andrea Mackris... I would destroy him both personally and professionally.

I saw, the rather amazing speech by the Texas Governor last night. It was utterly, well, amazing, in a train wreck kind of way. I mean, if he doesn't want the federal government interfering with Texas SOOO much, maybe Obama should instruct the treasury to stop sending any and all federal money to Texas immediately!

Of course, being that for every dollar Texas sends into the Federal Government, they get something like 83 cents back, seems as though they're living well off of the government. Pull their funding. They want to be left alone, leave 'em, and then see what happens. Remove their military bases, and give them to another State that you know, doesn't mind the federal government being there. Remove NASA from Houston. Remove the Border Patrol. Let's see how they do.

Please understand that the speach you saw last night was one of desperation coming from a Govenor who is watching the landscape of his own state change before his eyes.  There is a New York Times Map that Illustrates this quite well, and you will see that there was a huge shift in Democrat voting in Texas.  If you follow the link, just click on the tab to the left of the map that says "Voting Shift."

I live in Houston, and we just had a sweeping change in seated judges and council members as a result of the last election.  Our Democrat mayor is also considering running for the Senate.  Bill White will certainly have my support if he chooses to do so.

Texas is not some Conservative/Republican paradise existing in some political bubble.  If this washed up Political hack did try to secede, which he would never attempt in his wildest dreams, he would have litteraly millions of Liberal/Democrat Texas voters to deal with.
