Let's see... they're both Heads of State, in the Americas: they're both relatively young for being a Head of State: they're both dark-skinned men (I consider some Hispanic men to be dark-skinned): they're both liked not only by their own People, but by each other's People also I think (I think largely the American People approve of Chavez, especially after he called George W. Bush the devil, and I can't imagine why the good People of Venezuela who have any dislike for our President Obama... as a matter of fact, I would say that the American People and the Venezuelan People for the most part like and trust each other): they're both slandered by Fux News Channel and rush limbaugh and Republicans in general...

They do have a lot in common.

      Because he shook his hand?

I guess in the conservative world you can't even so much as look in the direction of those that you have labeled as "enemy".

The thing they have most in common is how much hatred Limbaugh has for each one of them.  I could care less how he feels about Chavez.  Anyone notice how Gloria Borger called him "Victor Chavez" on State of the Union yesterday AM.  It was hysterical.

Shorter Limbaugh: What's scarier than one non-white guy in power? TWO non-white guys in power.
