Geist pals around with morons. The logical conclusion is left as an exercise for the reader.

The unoriginality is stunning here. He's actually paraphrasing Wailing Palin.

So, in that same vein then, Reagan palled around with communists, Bush palled around with terrorists and Clinton palled around with dictators, right?

The MSM was just ginned up waiting for the Latin Americans meetings to fulfill this storyline.

      This is just meaningless garbage.

Well, Reagan DID have a comfy relationship with a number of fascists. But I digress.

I was going to say the same thing.  And how does this guy have a job on the teevee?  I can't find one redeeming quality - humor? Maybe so saharan that I don't get it.   Political anaylsis?  Not when he just sits there like a doofus with Joey going spastic over the latest Obama handshake.  In-depth reporting?  I haven't seen it.

I did see that this morning he gave me the scoop on the Miss USA question/answer process.  Bingo!  I found one.

To watch Joe open his show with comments about Obama disregarding human rights and freedom was a very moving thing. You would think conservatives actually meant it when they go on with this drivel. We have no threat from Venezuela other than thier badmouthing our government. Joe almost reached the Rush Limbaugh level of indignation because of the handshake and smile at a (prepare yourself) communist.

Of course human rights in countries that we need never get a mention.Saudi Arabia's systemic devaluation of women and completely archaic monarchy are just fine with the right wing as long as they keep the oil flowing. Personally, as an American, I have always found monarchies more offensive than communism. The founding fathers stood up to a king at a time when most people were inclined to believe the whole 'chosen by god' line.

And let's not forget our new bosses, the Chinese. Apparently Joe has no problem with the outsourcing of millions of American jobs to these communists. No worker protections or environmental laws bring back the conditions of the industrial revolution.A de-facto reinstating of slavery fits right in with the values of republicans.

If only there were some counterpoints on these programs to say what you just said right back to their smug faces. They are paid to protect interests that effect a tiny tiny sliver of Americans. The rest of us can eat the fatty cakes they sell during commercial breaks.

        I couldn't agree more.

This had to be an RNC memo or something.  At least 3 rightwing media hacks spewing this same phrase now.
