This is hilarious.  Not the part where Carlson thinks equal rights for all Americans is somehow just "being politically correct", that's a pathetic Fox News soundbite against those they're at culture war with.  The funny part is their matching outfits! and the notion that Miss California gets a mulligan on her botched answer to the question.

And how does Fox do the politically correct angle while insisting that opposing gay marriage is the majority point of view?

No Gretchen, it's called allowing everyone in our country to have the same rights. And aside from that, you can't show me one reason as to WHY gay people shouldn't be able to get married, or join into a legal binding union with one another (I put that in there for the religious folks who think gays getting married is some sort of afront to their own marriage and or religion, and that the work marriage shouldn't be used for gay people).

Since when is being pro-gay anything considered politically correct?  They are about the last group that it seems to be socially acceptable to mock and ridicule.

Gretchen is going to be all over this story for days.  After all, she was a former beauty queen.

          I know right.

Though I'm glad the girl from my state, and a University I attended won, its really not news.

I need a little help here: my sound card is on the fritz, and so as I watched the video clip and the two cable babes in it, w/o hearing a word of it, and so I'm left a little confused...

Which one of them is the Beauty Pageant Contestant?

I don't mean to be stupid, I'm just overly cautious about jumping to conclusions: was it the babe wearing the sash that had "Miss USA" printed on it... was she the Beauty Pageant Contestant?

Carlson might want to watch her back. Miss CA is younger and prettier, and might even be more Christian. She'll take over Carlson's job any day.
