      yeah, yeah, we know ... everything that Glenn Beck does not believe in is either communist, fascist or nazi. YAWN! it loses its punch after he labels EVERYONE that way who is not a rightie.

        Neither of them are the 'problem' in so far as there is no solution to either of them aside from simply ignoring them publicly.

        However, the social categories of the consumers of right-wing propaganda commonly include seniors. In about 10 years or so, the ratings will sink or even dissipate completely because, without the seniors, lots of conservative media figures will lose enough listenership to cease being financially viable for advertisers.

        That is, of course, assuming that the younger generations have proven better receptive to more rational and intellectually sound forms of conservatism. Which, of course, would have to be met with more rational and itellectually sound forms of liberalism.

      This maniac never ceases to amaze me.  When I am driving and happen upon his Nazi-revival radio program, it only takes seconds to hear him say something outrageous.  Today he blamed Pres. Obama for the suicide of Freddie Mac officail David Kellerman, no kidding.  To the people who listen to and support this lunatic: you have to understand that you are simply tools being used for something that doesn't even concern you - that is why everyone else, whom your kind designates the 'liberal media', laughs at you and makes fun of your tea parties - because you have no idea what it is you are supporting...just understand that GLENN BECK IS BUT A FLAME IN THE INFERNO ABOARD THE SS REAGAN...

      This takes a lot of guts coming from a lying piece of garbage like BECK. Actually HE is a lot like GOEBBLES in that all he is is a propaganda piece for the FAR RIGHT WING of the REPUBLICAN PARTY.

      Beck's comparrison was entirely accurate.  'Green Lifestyle' is the new Liebesraum.  This time the Fascists aren't preaching Germanic superiority or the Italian glorius heritage.  This time they're "internationalists" united by their common destiny on this fragile blue orb, "citizens of the world," and dedicated to egalitarianism.  This time instead of Jewish bankers that are to blame and must be brought under control it's "greedy capitalists who rape the earth for profits."  Instead a need to purify the race they want to purify the way we think, to "eliminate the oppressive, patriarcal values that have held us down so long."  Instead of it being illegal to employ a Jew, it's just alright to employ only leftists, after all, it would be irresponsible to hire someone whose ideas are so mired in those old ways of seeing things.  Instead of banning the opposition press they attack it and try to discredit it, even estalishing web-sites dedicated to doing so.

      Where they are identical is the more telling matter.  In both cases a crisis is looming in which that which we cannot live without must be saved.  For the Nazi's it was ethnic purity, for the pseudo-environmentalists its the ecosystem of the entire planet.  In order to save what is valuable they require a strong central government capable of overiding any opposition and of engaging in a comprehensive effort to manage a change in the basic way things are done.  To do this, the government requires the authority to order instead of request and to enforce their orders with force.  They both promise the dawn of a new more enlightened era in which people will be healthier and smarter and better able to pursue their dreams.  All we have to do is give them the power to do it and they will give us back a great leap toward paradise on earth.  Both manifestations offer you an urgent need to end discussion and get on board and be a part of the new enlightenment.  Both savagely attack their opponents as hatefull and unintelligent to a degree that implies some basic inferiority.

      No doubt some fans of Glen Beck do not understand the issues and are being led.  But don't delude yourselves that your side is any better.  I find some of you very thoughtful and well informed.  But there are many that are probably better targets for the insults and derrogatories than those they aim them at.

      As for the Nazi or Fascist comparrison ... let's hear from one of you that really knows what either of those movements stood for and advocated.  I've studied them and knew that this comparrison was accurate long before I'd ever heard of Glen Beck.  Liberalism IS a branch of European-style Socialism as were Nazism and Fascism.  The differences are only in the details and this false outgrowth of environmentalism we see today is only the latest and one of the most effective campaigns promoting an acceptance of European-style Socialism.

        The Nazis were Socialist in name only.  They were actually extremely conservative, on the extreme right of the political spectrum, as were the Fascists.  Glenn Beck would be the perfect tool for Goebbels, he excells at telling the big lie with a straight face.  He is one of the most menacing personalities I have seen in a really long time.

        No, no no! Bad conservative! Bad! Never, prior to Obama rescuing the US from the republicans, did the Right use (in such public temper-tantrums as the 'tea-parties' or through your neo-con media messiahs anyway) words like facist, communist, socialist, marxist, blah-blah-blah, to describe the Left in regards to its position on the environment, or any other matter the Right had to oppose because it wasn't their position.  This is new, these terms are just a big, red stamp that the neo-con masters have applied to the democratic party so the neo-con sheep can easily, without thought, follow their lead.  People like myself have always thought of neo-cons in terms of the Nazi party - and you sound well versed in the ways of European sociopolitical history so you should have no difficulty drawing comparisons between the two (you certainly were able to use alot of words, in a very complex and factually convenient way, to compare the Liberals to such). So see if this rings a bell: Anti-gay, Anti-academia, Anti-art, Anti-science, Hyper-religion, Hyper-militarism, Hyper-Nationalism! I didn't even have to try to draw a comparison - the neo-conservative party may not be neo-Nazi (they are not anti-semitic thank goodness), but they sure do subscribe to Nazi philosophy - or at least to its propaganda tactics....
