Give the dude a break. That's all he's got!

He's still defending torture and the inability of his hero, George Bush, to complete a sentence.

So an articulate president that "cheats", in his mind, by using a teleprompter is just not fair. Waaaah ....

It seems that without the teleprompter he is not so articulate.

Really? Compared to whom, exactly? Obama handles and conducts himself very well in interviews and when answering questions from the press, and speaks very coherently 99% of the time. George W. Bush and other presidents have always had either a teleprompter with them when giving speeches, or notes to look from. I haven't heard Obama say "Before I arrived in president...during I arrived in president" like Bush did.

The right-wing honestly believes that the teleprompter was specifically invented for Obama, and that Obama is the first president to make verbal gaffes. Since Obama's verbal gaffes are far less frequent, they will make a huge deal out of them.

The American public does not care about a teleprompter, as indicated by polls, and the fact that Fox is the only network that even talks about it.

Let's see, how about the right try to say things about criticize Obama without using the words "teleprompter", "fascist" and "socialist".

Whoops, I took away all the conservative talking points!

The right has no ideas. Just spewing hate and ad hominem attacks.

Nope. Seems as articulate as Bill Clinton to me, and maybe even less likely to get angry. Actually I kind of like that Clinton.

I think it will take more time before we can say he is as good as Clinton, that was one of Clinton's strenghts. Obama is good when he is prepared to wing it but falters a bit when he expects to be using the teleprompter  and something goes wrong. Clinton would not skip a beat.

Actually, I'm pretty sure GW Bush never used a teleprompter.  Heck, maybe Old Bush and Reagan didn't either.  After all, what use does an illiterate person have for a teleprompter?

FairLiberal...that's the most idiotic thing I've read all day. Didn't I just watch President Obama conduct a 62 minute press conference at the White House a few weeks ago? Did he use a teleprompter when he answered each question? Didn't President Obama just give a press conference to the traveling press at the end of the Summit of the Americas? Did he use a teleprompter then?

Oh...I get it...Obama should memorize his speeches, right? Just like his predecessors....oh wait....no other President has had to memorize his speeches.

Don't be an ass....it's very unattractive.

Poor fairliberal! Reminds me of an online conversation I had yesterday with another Bush dead-ender. The guy was trying to convince us that Bush & Co didn't take their eye off the ball by abandoning Afghanistan in order to invade Iraq. "No, no-o-o-o!!! Bush didn't drop the ball!!!! There were still lots of troops left to do the job!!!"

Well, yes there were, but Bush turned his attention away and never got any reconstruction programs started because he was lusting after Iraq's oil.

The poor guy was stuck defending the utterly indefensible.

Apparently Obama is doing good so far as President if this is all the conservative programs can report on. That makes me happy because the United States needs the help of a good leader.

Hannity might want to use a teleprompter himself to try and save one little shred of dignity if he ever decides to respond (negatively, I'm assuming) to Keith Olbermann's offer to donate $1,000 to charity for every second he (Hannity) can spend being waterboarded, double if he'll admit that waterboarding is torture afterwards.  They can't find anything else, anything legitimate to criticize?  I listen to Limbaugh for a few minutes every day, just out of a sense of disbelief and incredulity, and I'm pretty sure he probably has notes he refers to, and I've heard him stutter like Porky Pig at times, so what's the big deal?

Hannity lives in a house surrounded by teleprompter glass. He's so busy trying to manipulate the public that he doesn't realize that most of us know that he and the other authoritarian propagandists at Fox use teleprompters, too.

Heck, all his girlfriend Sarah Palin proved at the RNC was that all she could do was read a teleprompter.  Off the top, that political ditz was lame.  But will Hannity say that...nope.

And there were waaaay funnier moments of Bush off the top than this.  Nice to see wingnuts so easily amused.  But this is all they got.  Other than imaginary gun bans, tax hikes that arent coming, defense of torture, and anything else that doesnt' matter.

Does anyone know when and where this event will take place? He is going to do it right?

I assume he is going to do it.  If not, that would mean that Hannity is just a liar and a blowhard that is willing to make a joke out of the military families and torture just to attempt to push his own ratings.  That couldn't be true....could it?
