This guy is coming into his own.  I think he has had enough of the militia mentality at Fox.  CNN, go get him now and give him Dobbs and Campbell's slots.

Fox should trade him to MSNBC for Blowhard Scarborough. Then Fox could be 100% conscience-free again!

That would work for me. Joe Scarborough is a lazy conservative pundit that basically says things to please Pat Buchanan. Give the show to Pat and then you might have something worth watching.

In all reality, the rest of faux is soooo radically reich-wing that Shep comes off as moderately sane by comparison.

Shepard,"Shep,"Smith, telling like it is.  There is no hope for the top-dog, which is the puppet-master.   Mr. Smith is in the Foxhole.

      News at five...

Shep Smith supports the Constitution.  Never mind party, actions. From the Latin, "facta non verba," deeds not words.   Shep Smith did is deed, relax.   Due action is followed by reward.

I like it, mediamatters.org, shining the light on good and bad.  This will work.   Now, if we could only develop a resource economy, we would do better.  Wind, tidal, wave, and solar would put the monetary system out of action.    The banks control, using war, to make profit.  Simple.

Shepard Smith is the most reasonable man among the most unreasonable men. I think he has a lot of courage.

FYI, which is sad, but the first death in the U.S. was a baby that came across the border in the last week or so, this was a child of an illegal alien family.  So yes, if this spreads future in the area due to that child, I blame the U.S. Government for not closing the border.

Close the border?  To stop this you need to close off the country completely... five weeks ago.  Illegal imigration rates are tiny compared to business travel, trade and tourism.  IF you think creating fortress America a la North Korea is required, at least you would be consistent.  Sure, there are good arguements for having a more sane and regulated immigration policy but this idea that a solid border will keep us safe and pure is a right wing fantasy.  Globalism mixes everything up and makes a lot of people a lot of money in the process.  Keeping our nation quarantined from all the big bad evil in the rest of the world is bad for capitalism and markets.  Since that is not an option, lets blame those dirty sneaky immigrants...

"It is important for everyone to know that while the death occurred here in Houston ... this child is a resident of Mexico who traveled to Texas to visit family," said Dr. David Persse, Houston emergency medical services director. He said the boy's family "are healthy and well and have not had any symptoms."

So, no, it wasn't the child of an "illegal immigrant family".

People travel from country to country nowadays. There's no way to close our borders to illegal immigrants and not destroy our economy and theirs in the process. The germs have already spread, the damage has been done.

FYI, just to let you know Immigrants are not all dirty, you should not stereotype.  This has started in Mexico, why do you have a problem with have a temporary broder closing until we have this Flu under control?  Alos, all of our international airports should do image screening as well, check for body temps, much like they are now doing in other countries.

THat "dirty immigrant" was sarcasm directed at those who think this disease is an immigrant issue.  Also you miss the point about closing the border.  The only quarentine that will work will be closing down the country completely.  No planes, no trains, no automobiles.  This issue has nothing to do with immigrants.  The Mexico City Philharmonic orchestra poses just as much risk as anybody else
