Heh! I remember reading about the CIA wanting some fellow to handle the situation in Angola as the on-the-ground contact point. The guy they put in charge of the whole operation looked at him and said "Look, this fellow was in great shape and able to do all sorts of things, back during World War II!!!! (It was 1975)
So anyway, the guy in charge of the operation handled it nicely. He just described in great detail, all the many physically strenuous things his contact would be doing, all the hills he'd be climbing, all the remote villages he'd be visiting, etc. His contact went to the CIA and asked not to be the contact.
Sounds like Bill & Bernie need the same talk.
