I agree with you for the most part. I don't think that's what Cunningham was trying to say - I think he was just making a vicious, gratuitious, personal attack. But, I do think where Obama has come from and what he has achieved says alot of great things about our country no matter which side of the aisle you are on.
Unless, of course you are Cunningham then you will attack anyone for anything at anytime because you have no scruples and you see that anything is acceptable as long as you are defending your "team". I also would not pretend to understand the complex relationship that Obama and his mother had.
Actually you can't take Cunningham's discription and turn it around to show how much Obama has achieved and overcome....because the vile reich-winger wasn't make that point.
