Matthews equated being "pro-military" to being "to the right on foreign policy"

I suppose he has a point if by "pro-military" he means using military might instead of diplomacy but I doubt that's what he means. I suspect he's still stuck in the tired old 'conservatives are good with military matters' bs which I would think the last 8 years would have put completely to rest.
