Comments and commentary that's almost too stupid for the local watering hole is good enough for Fox News.

What I would say is that the rest of the news media should do a penetrating expose and take a look. I wish they would. I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people who work for Fox News and find out if they are pro-America or anti-America

What they either don't get or don't want their audience to understand is that torture is not simply the act. It's also the motivation behind the act.

We aren't torturing our soldiers and sailors when they go through SERE training and we expose them to techniques that other countries might use to torture them. The intent of the SERE trainers makes what they do NOT torture. The intent and motivation of the interrogators in the Bush Administration was to torture. Of course, they claim they didn't torture because the Bush Admin twisted the definition of torture. The intent of the SEAL's in the piracy case was not to torture.

Listen up America:  FoxNews and the Republicans are the "ONLY" ones who knows best of when criminal investigations should happen, and if these Democrats want to criminally investigate waterboarding as "torture" than FoxNews would like American Navy Seals investigated for taking out the Pirates.  Unbelievable, huh?  How pathetic and low, low, low for FoxNews to bring up the Navy Seals as their cover for protecting "possible" wrong-doings from the Bush Administration over "torture" and "waterboarding".

Yeah, it's kind of sad to see a formerly sharp news anchor go brain-dead for the sake of his employer.

Reich-wingers consistently fail at making a reasonable analogy.  It must be innate.
