This is why I only watch Fox News for the graphics.  They're just way too brainy for me.

      Trace,

George W Bush couldn't even nominate who he wanted because of his right wing base.  So he had to appoint ideological conservatives to placate the base.  Obama needs to appoint ideological liberals to placate his base.  It is what presidents do and every body knew this day would come.

WHAT?! Who would have been MORE conservative court picks than Roberts and Alito?

I'm sorry -- I misunderstood your comment. Let me ask this instead -- what would make you think George W. Bush wanted to appoint someone more moderate that Roberts and Alito?

            Ever hear of Harriet Miers?

On October 3, 2005, Bush nominated Miers to serve as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court. Many notable conservatives vigorously criticized her nomination, and numerous conservative groups normally considered part of Bush's political base planned to mount an organized opposition campaign.

Elections have consequences.  The President can nominate anyone he wishes.   Apples...meet.....Gallagher.

FOX news and the right-wing would like us all to know that we should be outraged at Obama's pick for the Supreme Court.  We should all be ashamed and demand that this person not be seated on the court.  They will get back to us with the details as soon as they know who this person is.
