The us against the world mentality that permeates Fox News does not seem to lend itself to fair and balanced reporting.  Seriously, the country does not deserve to hear Obama's presser on Fox because they weren't asked a question?  So I guess my local paper shouldn't have run a story on it the next day because they weren't called on either?  Only a joke of a news organzation would do that so it is spot on for Fox News(?)

This ding-dong has the gall to criticize a reporter from another organization after Fox News spends 8 years softballing Bush & Cheney and then throws outrageous accusations at Obama's administration all day long, most of which are blatantly false.

If Fox was right to not show the presser, then Obama has the right to not call on them. There, see? Fair & balanced.

Fox News asked such a stupid question last go around (Major Garrett asked him about one world currency) that it makes perfect sense for Obama to skip them this time and give someone else a chance.  Wallace does play a nice victim though.

Why is it that Media Matters likes to complain about the so called
"Conservative" network Fox News having an "us versus them" mentality? Have you guys never watched a single episode of Countdown with Keith Olbermann all the way through? Why do you guys only criticize people like me that you disagree with and never Liberals like Olbermann or Alan Colmes? You guys have the biggest "us versus them" ego of all.

I'm not sure what direction that Chris Wallace is coming from.

First he says that the NYT reporter should be laughed at by his coleagues for asking what the "enchanted" question.

Then he comments on the Fox reporter who attended that was not allowed a question... the so called "boycott" of his network.

THEN he claims that it was not a serious press conference, the wwhole thing was a non-event, and Fox was right not to air it.  He even used the term that it was merely "a commemeration of the day" and therefore should not have been taken seriously.

       So to summarize...

He is upset that at this unimportant news conference, which was merely commemerating an unimportant day, where softball questions like "What has enchanted you," were being thrown, did not permit his network's reporter to ask a question, even though the network he works for had elected not to air the press conference at all to begin with.

Did I get all that right or am I missing something?
