LOL! Who the hell is this dude?? Fascist state?? Where's his AK-47 and "Down with Obama" sign?

Someone should ask this frat boy to actually define fascism and then compare Mussolini and a truly fascist state with one where the previous administration (Republican, so not a single party system like in fascism) temporarily took over failiing banks & auto makers (the entire economy outside of those 2 examples is free-market capitalism, not fascism).

Or is he just getting paid to spew the company line here?

I guess this boy thinks that fascist governments do not forbid and suppress criticism and opposition to the government.

Fascism/ n. 1)the totalitarian principles and organization of the extreme right-wing nationalist movement in Italy (1922-43). 2) (also fascism)a. any similar nationalist and authoritarian movement. b. any system of extreme right-wing views. This is my first post and I thought since the word is being thrown around so much lately, a definition was needed for those using it incorrectly.

Fascism is not a right wing ideology. It is a left wing ideology. The man who created fascism, Benito Mussolini, was a socialist. Mussolini's father read Das Kapital, by Karl Marx, to Benito. Mussolini was named after Benito Juarez, the Mexican socialist revolutionary. The fascism Mussolini created is socialism on a national scale as compared to the fascism of the Soviet Union which was international socialism. Mussolini said a better name for fascism was corporatism. His fascist government didn't directly take over a business it just regulated businesses to the point that the government ran them. To learn more of how liberalism is fascism read the book Three New Deals A Look at Hitler's Germany, Mussolini's Italy and Roosevelt's America by Wolfgang Schievelbusch a German cultural historian.

No Fascism is NOT a leftwing ideology. That is a silly rightwing talking point they are trying to get away with that is taking in some of the more gullible. No political scientist worth his salt would consider Fascism anything but a far right ideology. This says nothing more about the right than the fact Stalin and Mao were leftwing does about the left. Some of the defining characteristics of fascism are strong nationalism, disdain for human rights, identifying scapegoats as a unifying cause, militarism, sexism, obsession with national security, protecting corporate power, supression of labor, disdain of intellectuals and the arts. NONE of these are considered leftwing by anyone with the slightest understanding of political science. This zombie meme is frankly dumb and ought to be retired. It is false and it is silly.

This is the same BS spouted by RW idiots everywehere. Mussolini was NOT a socialist in any real or practical sense. His PARTY was called the "Socialist Something-or-other" becuase that was a popular buzzword at the time. (Kind of like modern day dictatorships calling themselves "the peoples democratic party" or some similiar nonsense.) His policies were NOT socialist, they were FACSIST and the two are polar opposites. To argue otherwise is to reveal your own ignorance.

You don't know what you're talking about. Look up fascism here. For that matter, look it up here, too. You can pretend otherwise all you like, but you're not even close to being accurate. Upton Sinclair said that fascism would come to American wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross. [http://www.themilitantagnostic.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/flag-palin.jpg]
          He was right.

I'm guessing that the folks over at Fox-Noise and this little misadventure called Fox-Business still have not realized that this stupid waste of time is, well... a stupid waste of time!

I wonder how much longer the right-wing money thugs are going to keep pumping their hard earned... er... stolen... I mean earned... er stolen money into the daily disaster called the Fox Noise propaganda machine??

At some point they have to realize that those that are watching today are the only ones that are ever going to watch? The chances of actually gaining a new audience is not all that likely! It is not as if they will expand their message much beyond where it is now... so why bother?

Unless their goal is the destruction of America and all the greatness she can be?

"A new world order;" Hitler said that, after him Pres. Bush, #41 on your presidential roster, and now Fox News. I see a trend. Common to all, power and the poor use thereof, is the thread. The Chicken-Little Gang,(Congress), is a fascist state by definition; a corporatist state. It has always been. It is not about the voter, but greed. We petty masses need, the rule of fools, and their choices. NOT!
If you do not want to help yourselves, why should anyone?
I would like the winner of any elected position to fund, in escrow, their own recall vote.
      Voter Insurance! Sounds good.

To suggest Fascism “is a left wing ideology” [thanx ever so much BBryan] bespeaks a troll’s talking point, presented to foment discord in a most seditious yet covert manner. Pure fetid smoke & feces-stained mirrors, designed to misdirect or confabulate the fact that America was a fascist state, in essence, for almost the past eight years. With all three branches of the federal government seemingly mesmerized, in that somewhat ersatz Roveian flummoxing of treasonous deceptions, any form of opposition, criticism, debate or righteous dissent was suppressed and literally forbidden. Such authoritarian dictatorship, with a masked xenophobia, advocated the undoing of the rights of the individual for the monolithic enslavement of the corporation or corporate concern. By undoing the continual checks & balances of governmental oversight and the policing of regulations & laws etc., the essential framework of American government was eroding ruinously. America had atrophied. And this Willard is not only a fool, but also a consummate ass. Yet Willard wants you to think otherwise as does FuxNewz. Just remember, none of this crap ever occurred during the past eight years as Benito Bush was never in charge…just ask Willard.
