So... the dumbest bastard on TV says that an ex-Constitutional law professor is not going to go out of his way to nominate a judge that will follow the Constitution...

      Yeah.... whatever Sean!

Oh yeah... Sean, when are you going to allow yourself to be water-boarded?? There's a lot of money just waiting to be given to charity for your proving your manhood!

        Agree Captain...

I'd pay quite a bit of money to see Seannie waterboarded.

Why don't we have a national Fox News waterboarding day? We'll all sit around and drink tea and watch Fox News "stars" get waterboarded.

Oooh!, I'd love to see Miller waterboarded.

I thought Hannity had volunteered to have himself waterboarded. What happened to that?

Hannity's right, as always. It's very simple. Any justice appointed by a Democrat is a radical activist; any justice appointed by a Republican is a constitutionalist.

Scalia, whose rulings make him look very much like a radical activist, is most especially NOT a radical activist (see previous paragraph).

Also, realize that while Democrats were not allowed to ask Scalia, Alito, Roberts and Thomas their views on abortion and Roe v. Wade ("I can't comment on any case that might come before the court," repeat ad nauseum), Republicans have a MORAL OBLIGATION to insist that Democratic nominees indicate their views on same. Why? Because all Democratic nominees are radical activists.

      Any questions?

The chances are zero that cowardly Sean will waterboard himself. He's not man enough to do it. He'll start crying and tell them to stop.

Sean is only a teleprompter reader. The staff, bookers, and producers are the ones who put his shows together. He just steps in the studio and reads notes.

Take away his notes and teleprompter, Sean will crash live on the air.

He's right of course - mo matter who Obama nominates, chances are zero that Hannity believes he will follow the rule of law and the Constitution, no matter what happens.

You are right about that. Facts are incomprehensible to the right wing. I'm starting to believe that the attraction to the republican party is that it allows hypocrisy for the logically challenged. They have the ability to believe their own lies are truth. That's really weird.

$100 mil? Think again. He makes more than that just for his radio contract. Radio Equalizer reported, a year or two ago, that he signed a radio contract for 5 years at $125M. Add in Fox and the books Levin ghost wrote for him, and he's in the Limbaugh $1M/week club!!

Strange that the RW follows Limbaugh, Hannity, and Beck - not even an associate's degree between them! (education is SO liberal/elitist!)

The Democrats owe the aforementioned 3 SO MUCH. I hope they keep up the good work. A couple more years, and you won't have a Republican from any state with over a million people!

        ;o)

I think that we have created a new kind of person in a way. We have created a child"SEAN" who will be so exposed to the media that he will be lost to his parents by the time he is 12. - David Bowie, British singer, song writer, and performer

I'm Sure Obama will nominate a left-leaning judge that will legislate from the bench what cannot be made law in congress. Judges that will say that the will of the people don't matter when it doesn't agree with liberal politics, such as banning gay marriage in CA.

I think it's funny that Obama goes off prompter for 90 seconds and sounds like a fifth-grader with no social studies classes, Sean is on the radio 15 hours a week often with callers, on TV every night - again often with guests - where every sentence must be an immediate follower to the previous, and you call him a teleprompter addict.

Why is it that when people who want to kill you get waterboarded you are appalled, but when people want to teach you about how your beloved leader is destroying our society you are all for the process?

I see a lot of hate on this board, which is unfortunately what you have all led me to expect.

          1. Prop 8 in California might not even be legal because it effectively amends the California Constitution without going through the legal process to do so. Anti-gay marriage advocates from all over the country poured millions of dollars into the fight, but they don't live in California, so why should they have had a voice? They also used ads that were blatantly false, claiming things like "gay marriage restricts religious freedom" when, in fact, it does not. In fact, gay marriage has absolutely no effect on anybody else's marriage, and it is a civil rights issue; if any given church does not want to perform them, they won't have to.

          2. Obama thinks about what he says and is coherent, knowledgeable, and accurate. Your claim that he is utterly reliant on teleprompters and can't speak without them is not only wrong, but you reveal your reliance on talking points. For that matter, the last three Republican Presidents couldn't speak at all without a teleprompter, but that doesn't seem to matter to you. Hannity is so irrational his rants don't make sense.

          3. Waterboarding is torture. Torture is illegal. We executed Japanese soldiers for doing it to POWs during WWII, remember? Even if it was legal, it is ineffective. People say anything that they think will stop the pain. John McCain said this in 2007, remember? Professional interrogators have repeatedly said this. Defending torture is disgusting and beyond simply being immoral, it is actively evil.

          4. You talk about how much hate you see on this board and you're talking about how "Obama sounds like a fifth grader" and "teaching" us about Obama. Look up the word "hypocrisy."

Also, it's called checks and balances. There are 3 equal branches of our government. They are, the executive, the legislative, and yes, the judicial. If the legislative makes a law that is un-Constitutional, and it is not vetoed before being put into place, it is the duty of the judicial branch to ensure that the Constitution is followed. You guys always seem to forget that little bit of information. Sometimes the will of the people is wrong. As it was for slavery. As it was for Jim Crow laws. As it is for gay marriage bans. We are a republic, and sometimes majority does NOT rule.

I think you should study up on how our government, you know, functions.

If the contisitution was as black and white as Hannity seems to think it is we wouldn't need a Supreme Court to interpret it. Why do these idiots think they know more about the Constitution than the SCOTUS or Constututional scholars like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama? I trust any justice, even Roberts, to interpret the Constitution more than I do Sean Hannity. In other words STFU Hannity.
