Every time there is a race-sensitive issue that comes up, they feel like they have dust off this old dinosaur to spew more insensitive uninformed bigotry.
Why not just have an entire show that just puts crack pots and loons on to draw viewers ... Oh, riiiiight, we all have THAT CHANNEL @ FNC!
If you surf the web for info about this case Ricci v. DeStefano, you'll find it - and learn that a lot of what Tweety and Bucky were fussing about is pretty settled. The key (but not the only) question in the case seems to me to be, once the city set aside the promotion test results because (a) NO blacks passed it and (b) there was inadequate evidence that the results had ANYTHING to do with job performance in the jobs for which the test was used, what DID the city do to select the persons to be promoted?
S. I Hayakawa said that those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat. In Buchanan's case, those who are ignorant of history project victimhood upon themselves, and in so doing land lucrative TV contracts.
