Well, they did listen....unfortunately for them it was only one person...... and that was Limbaugh. And the idea that a republican would say something with conviction one day and then turn around and spin it is unheard of.

      They have WMD's........They don't have WMD's?

      Mission Accomplished.......Not Accomplished? (bigger mess?)

We don't torture..... we do torture?

Obviously the results of the last election proves that they weren't listening. The Limbaugh factor is fine with me - most people I know, even Republicans, can't stand him so fine, go with his advice. Carry on, carry on.

Do you have a point to make or are you displaying your knowledge of ratings? So what, he is doing well in the ratings? He is well-paid for those ratings. Which is good for him..and bad for all of the employees who lost thier jobs? And for all of us who have to pay more to his advertisers so they can pay the higher cost to place an ad on his show. Now that is the real trickle up economy.

I thought I read somewhere that his audience average is over 60, which may explain why its a dead-end game, eventually? Obviously he's top dog at his game NOW, but I think its kind of embarrassing that GOP apologizes to him all the time. Is it the Palin effect? I didn't think the CONSERVATIVE anti-gay, anti-environment, anti-science thing was really working. I must be missing something.

There is an entire population (and growing) that is embarrassed by his kind of talk radio. That's all I meant.

          Yes, he is.

However, his audience of about 20 million represents about 7% of the population.

If you assume that all of that 7% is actually fans, and no people who listen to know their enemy, that still leaves 93% of the country. The majority of that 93% has an overwhelmingly-negative opinion of Limbaugh.

Yep. And if 30 Million people (which is far more than he even claims)listen to him and vote accordingly, Obama and the Dems will still hold onto about 80% of the electorate. So by all means, keep letting this talk-radio @$$-clown set policy priorties for your party.

Please keep listening to Rush. . . and by all means "teach" the electorate on how foolhardly they were to throw you out in 08 - should really shore up your mid-term prospects.

Obama has the support of the most respected Republican in the world and that is Colin Powell.

Powell is not afraid to take on Limbaugh and his divisive rhetoric.

Cantor and the rest of the G.O.P. should be ashamed of themselves for allowing their party to be highjacked by people like Limbaugh and the Fox news gang.
