It speaks volumes of a conservative mindset when simply because our nation of laws will no longer use inhumane methods of retrieving intel that we simply can't interrogate them.

Joe pretends real hard to be Mr. Bipartisan, but then he belches out a boneheaded Republican talking point fresh out of Rush Limbaugh's a$$, and gives himself away.

Joe is thinks we don't listen to his words. "interrogate" does not mean "torture". They aren't one in the same, Joe. What the politician you are. You may interrogate someone without torturing them. What's wrong with this guy? Exactly why the Republican party will be defunct. They twist and turn words without a purpose and people of this nation are mored learned now.

Let me let Scarborough on a little secret. The Bush/Cheney reign had nothing to do with keeping you safe. It was about OIL, baby. It's was about knocking our financial sector so out of whack that should we recover, it would take years if not forever. It was about what Bush #1 in the Persian Gulf. OIL! Remember, these are oil men and Saudi owns about 1/3 of America. Joe you are stunningly superficial if think otherwise. New York city houses 8 million people. Unfortunately 3,000 of them lost their lives on that fateful day. However, if it were really about just simply killing Americans, as Joe believes, why not Yankee stadium or Wall Street at lunchtime? Think about it.

I think, at least I hope, that history will reveal the true reasons behind the Iraq Invasion.

I strongly suspect that you're right... Oil was the primary motivator. I also think that a handful of Cheney's cronies virtually looted the Treasury through military contracts over there.

There is, after all, that missing 9 Billion Dollars which was never accounted for. In a war that will end up costing a Trillion Dollars, I guess 9 Billion seems like a small sum. However, even by Wall Street standards... 9 Billion is still a sh*tload of money. Somebody walked away with it, and the bobbleheads in the Corporate Media can't seem to find the time to ask who.

The original name they gave to the Iraq war was

        Operation
        Iraqi
        Liberation,

until someone pointed out to them what the initials stood for.

The trade center had a much higher population than either the Stadium or Wall St at lunch time. There were apx 50,000 ppl who worked there and it was estimated that as many as 200,000 visitors a day came and went. Think about it, they did pick the right place to kill Americans.

I think the terrorists were also going for symbolic impact, considering the targets of the other planes. Plus, from what I understand, they had no idea the Towers would collapse.

Whatever the motive, the 9/11 attack was horrific. I think we can all agree on that.

What an idiot. Torture <> Interogation, Joe. I like the fact that you think we should be torturing people who are merely suspects too. Maybe we should just torture everyone in the country to find out if they are al Qaeda?
