      What the hell is wrong with everyone? Kidney failure is not the same thing as death. You can live for decades without a working kidney.

        Why dont' you try it sometime if you think it's no big deal? yeah, you can stay alive for 20 years with it, getting more and more debilitated as it wears off. And, oh yeah.. I have a feeling that being waterboarded twice a week might actually be more pleasant than dialysis.

      By not disavowing Rush Limbaugh the Reupblican party will surely be defunct. They dance around the issue and skirt and laugh and say he's not important. Well, he's important enough for the Republicans and the conservatives news like Morning Joe afraid of him. Mika, Joe and Willie Geist are all scared of Rush Limbaugh. That's right, take up for the most vocal racist of the Republican party. This nation is changing and people aren't tolerate of racist talk. Rush Limbaugh is such and if the media doesn't call him on it, then expect the Republican party and Morning Joe no more.

        They'll be around to fill a niche. As long as there are people with racist attitudes, inclined to blame scapegoats instead of looking at solutions to problems, we'll see bloviators like limpball spewing their garbage. But the margin of acceptance for this negativity will keep shrinking

        For years, Rush apologists have offered the defense that he's "just an entertainer" or that he doesn't really matter. Then they'll claim that they never really listen to him, anyway.

        Well, somebody listens to him, and there is no doubt that he has great influence over a certain weak-minded segment of the electorate. He's not "just an entertainer".

        On a related topic, I heard an interview with the guy who created Archie Bunker, and he was mildly surprised that, even back then, a lot of people didn't realize that Archie was a caricature meant to poke fun at conservatives. Some people actually thought he was a great guy.

        Rush Limbaugh has succeeded in tapping this sentiment and making bigotry and selfishness acceptable again, at least among his sycophantic listeners.

          Well, if the Limpy One is 'just an entertainer' who 'doesn't really matter' then why are the drones on the Right so damn quick to come to his aid whenever he is being 'attacked', aka 'having the truth about him being revealed'? Can any rightwinger come on here and explain it?

          I will now refer to Rush as Archie to all of my fine Ditto-Head friends. They'll get upset but it is better than calling them Meatheads.

      Deutsch is a good guy! He knows the American market place perhaps better then anyone else and understands Limbaugh for exactly what he is, half entertainer and half snake oil salesman. Wish Donny would bring back his show, but leave coulter off the guest list.

      Hold on, every time Rush makes an "off color" comment, what is it we hear? Oh it was just a joke so lighten up. So now we have an ACTUAL COMEDIAN (that is her friggin job!) make was is clearly a joke and everyone needs to defend the fat guy? IDIOTS!
