The only thing worse than someone who uses popular culture references to make their point is when they get the popular culture references all wrong.

Hey, don't be so quick to dismiss this. We've already learned that torture works because "24" proved it does.

And we've also learned from watching "24" that sometimes it's easier to get a suspect to talk if you shoot the suspect's wife.

But only in the leg. After all, we're not savages.

I could point out a cultural reference that is more accurate. Rush is a modern day Goebbles, and our little austrian corporal is an australian corporate.

That's exactly what Obama should do. Tell them the game is changing and they aren't going to have a free ride anymore. Rush would be perfectly OK with that if it was a Rep admin doing the same thing.

I wish he would. I'd like to see him tell these robber barons that the gravy train is about to stop, but it will never happen.

Their "pledge" to reduce cost by 1.5% is a f*@king insult.

Funny thing is, Don Corleone probably has a higher approval rating in the U.S. than does Rush Limbaugh.

Curious, though, how Righties like Rushie demand govt to be tough on diplomacy but lovey-dovey with big biz in the U.S.
