Is it a comforting thought to envision a party that only holds about 30% of the seats in congress, Karl?

Rove's comment does raise an interesting question:

Who is the most popular Republican in the country today?

I mean nationwide, among all Americans.

Is it Colin Powell? Is it Arnold Schwarzenneger?

(And why aren't we seeing in our news media the reported results of that particular poll question?)

Because the GOP is the party of ignoring the recession, victimization of white men, free market bubble economics and torture.

... In other words, the party of Limbaugh.

BTW, if Rove makes such a statement, does this officially make Limbaugh the leader of the GOP?

It's a very pathetic yet hilarious vision for the Republican Party's future allowing a drug addict criminal like Rush Limbaugh to be their leader.

Yeah. Typical Rove B.S. As if Powell had said "My vision for the country is for Limbaugh to shut up." Of course, not even a majority of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Limbaugh.

It's good to see that those morons have a death wish. We don't even need Wanda Sykes and her rush jokes - the Repugs are doing it to themselves quite nicely.

Did you see her full act? All sorts of disgusting stuff about bending over and grabbing your ankles for Limbaugh, Limbaugh being the 22nd terrorist attacker, stuff like that.

It's way over the top and offensive for someone who claims to be an entertainer to say, period.

"the Repugs are doing it to themselves quite nicely."

What's really funny is that the same right-wing corporate owned 'news' by putting these mouth pieces on the air so that they can talk their collective stupid is aiding in finishing these turkeys off.

FoxNoise, by putting criminals like Karl Rove on the air as if he has legitimacy is shooting both Rove and Fox at the same time.

As time goes by and the Fox viewers begin to see how they have been lied to... I said this before in past posts...

There's only so much more money the right-wing money bags are going to be willing to pump into Fox... which has proven to be a losing deal.

thye republican party is doing just fine. They have not fallen apart. they are on message, well coordinated and will succeed in causing the US Government to come to a halt, pres Obama's governance will have failed and they will return to the White House as the saviors and champions of less government.

Poor Karl. He has to pretend there's not a dichotomy here. His dinghy is tied to Limbaugh, of course, and he will sink along with that Titanic. But he has to talk as if the Republican party has room for all kinds of people, even has he tosses Powell under a train by lying about him.

We still love you, Karl. Stick around as long as you can. Keep trying to claw your way back to relevance. Just keep the bloodstains off the suit and no one will know. The party needs your special talents.
