Who is proposing such a thing? Why, Bill O'Lielly, that's who. And do you think that that liar wants his idiocy to be ignored by the rest of FAUX "news"?

Polygamy is absolutely protected under our constitution. The religious institution of marriage can only be regulated for the reasons of health, safety, and welfare. In other words, age and familial relationship.

Any other regulation must past strict scrutiny ... The state must have a compelling reason to pass a law forbidding certain marriages. Religious beliefs against certain marriages do not pass that test.

Triad marriages, unions, partnerships,groups,affiliations,menages,.....as long as there is no coersion or underage participants........ WHAT RIGHT DOES ANYONE (LET ALONE THE GOVERNMENT) HAVE TO PROHIBIT their personal activity.
        GO FOR IT!!!!

This is how the Republican party operates. Give a slice of the liberty cake to one group, and they assume that the opposition wants to give slices to every group, no matter how big or small.

As far as I can tell, the whole slippery slope started by allowing men to marry women. There outta be a law...

I say, let 'em have it. I see no reason to outlkaw ANY activity going on between consenting adults. (That eliminates childeren, animals and any activity which is coerced, for any semi-literate fox viewers who need it explained to them.)

Anyone who has ever been married will recognize the insanity of this statement.

LOL. I know. I mean... I love my wife, but I'd rather have [insert something very unpleasant] than to have two of her!

Do any of these nitwits even know what a logical fallacy is? Maybe they should look it up. The lists will vary slightly from one source to another, but ALL will include the Slippery Slope, which is a classic.

To say that you MUST legalize polygamy or incest or man-dog love if you legalize gay marriage is nonsense.

As others have pointed out, marriage is a legal contract; into which animals and children cannot enter.

As for polygamy, a case could be made, but there is no compelling reason to do it. We could legalize it, but we don't have to. Besides, if we did, what would be the harm? It would provide more work for lawyers.

Polygamy has been given a bad name by creepy old Mormons who force their 12 year old cousins into marriage and set up their own little harems, but I don't see an inherent problem with polygamy, if you can find adult partners who are willing to share and enter into it willingly.

This all comes back to the fact that the Troglodytes cannot come up with a logical reason to keep Gay Marriage illegal. Therefore, they must retreat to Logical Fallacies and Fear. It's all they've got.

Agreed, 100% on every word. CONSENTING. ADULTS. That pretty muich precludes everything that we really need to preclude, doesn't it?

Multiple partners? Are they talking about what the Mormons call "plural marriage"?

The Mormons believe it was commanded by God. (And later rescinded by God.)

So by that logic - and I use the term loosely - Fox & Friends thinks God was wrong. Shame on them.

      Mormon polygamy.

Why not multiple parteners? Because the laws have to be changed. As it stands, partners are legally entitled to benefits from the on partner, like health insurance from my job covers my wife, but if I had two wives, my job would say I have to pick one to get my benefits. If they can work out the rights that are traditionally applied to only one spouse so that it's fair, or if polygamous couples are fine with one wife (or husband) getting all the benefits and the others get bupkis, go for it. As long as they are adults, consenting, and unrelated, and not hurting anyone, have at it.
