Plus, they were unfamiliar with anything having to do with weed that they didn't first have to light up . . .

I left the Republican party a year ago, after 30 years. The movie "Sicko" was the last straw for me -- it convinced me that my Christian values were better represented by the Left. Yes, I'm part of the Religious Left.

As a Republican, I was never fat nor lazy. I did "real men's work' -- whatever that is.

Please, ad hominen attacks only fuel the fire that burns in their belly.

Let the fringe continue to marginalize themselves, and let us take the high road. Please. We have too many good ideas and too much compassion to let our ideas be overlooked because of the sometimes coarseness of our delivery.

I ask this humbly. Seriously.
