Oooooh. Big scary there. What about how republicans want forced bandwidth metering so they can force you to pay for information? Sounds like an end to free speech to me...

I'm more afraid of the fact that there is a fat angry white guy who is given a radio show to spew hatred. Why is no one up in arms about that?

Because he's a fat, angry white guy? The free market loves them, or so I've been told.

Actually Rush has been crowing about reparations since the Clinton days. Funny that in all that time, I've never heard a single person EXECPT Rush talkabout them... You know, kind of like the fairness doctrine?

If Maddow were to get Cheney on the show, he'd probably call her bluff if she asked him that question. They're plugging their ears and putting on the blinders. It's the core they want and it's the core they're appealing to. To hell with reason, as far as they're concerned.

The President seems to be taking a stance on declining crime by alleviating a financial disparity that "priveleged" America has enjoyed for too long. Priveleged doesnt refer to just white persons either, I mean the rich who did nothing to address the conditions of the people who made them rich. If this means you then yeah you! Since the Reagan Administration (and beyond), the wealth distribution had not been revisited although the cost of living, transportation and education had. Some parties pushed for puppets to take office of the president whom they were confident would not "rock the boat" and revisit policies and financial disparities that envoked "sustainable poverty". We now have to adjust to a new way of thinking and we don't like it. Let's see how these disbursements will be in minimizing crime and restoring pride and citizenship amongst American people and not just some Americans. Let us not dissent on matters that are grounded in hatred and racism.

The cost of food has gone up and portions have decreased. We have a President who deals with issues in real time and not 4 years down the road. He won't save this issue as a campaign tool and his policies in the area of welfare are being matched by his demands of welfare recipients. The President has rid us of practices that do not work and is engaging the country to do more for themselves and country to even be able to receive benefits from the state. Watch the plan unfold into actual motivating and comprehensive strategies rather than colorful insults and insinuations. As a matter of fact, what comprehensive suggestions does Limbaugh have to counteract the strategy of the President. Everyone is listening now so please speak in the same loud tone but with actual development strategy that reflects the Republican party since you are the designated hell raiser! Before we were dealing with an African American President, you didn't involve yourself with affairs of the country you were a talk show gossip columnist. You developed brain cells now in matters of citizenship, capitalism, and diversity? I thought you spoke from a perspective of imperialism. In this case, long live the King, (Barack, OOPS!, President Barack O'Bama). And how disrespectful of you to not yield respect for your president. Other nations are looking at this and they see that we have lost control and we allow behavior that they never would. There is a time and place for this dog and pony show, when it accomplishes something. Why would media give to so much attention when they never noticed Madoff?

Limbaugh appears to be in panic mode and self-destructing very quickly. His looniness should be apparent to everybody by now.

Limbaugh attacking the Republican party didn't do it.
Wanting America/Obama to fail didn't do it.
HUGE hypocricy on crime, drugs, and addiction didn't do it.
This is nothing. Rush has talked about reparations for years, and hatred for minorities for just as long.
See the MM article on how he was just given an enormous raise at the possible expense of 1,000 employees.

I'm very happy to see MMfA allowing a place for those few bright spots of non-conservative, non right-wing voices from the TV... Maddow, Olbermann, and Schultz.

The three lone voices and I suppose one from CNN... no, not Wolf or Lou... but Rick Sanchez (who sounds like a good guy) but I don't watch him accept on occasion, so I'm not sure if he deserve it?

This is about as offensive as it can get..I'm sure Michael Steele will tell Rush how offensive it is to smear the 1st Black President this way..a man who just happened to take the opposite position on reparations already!!Racial Fear Mongering at its worst.
That an elected member of Congress started this preposterous charge is beyond reprehensible while Conservatives are still blasting the President for Wanda Sykes'comments!!Unbelivable hypocrisy!!

When I first heard Cheney's infamous comment about choosing Limbaugh over Powell, that's the first thing that came to my mind: Cheney chose the white guy.

If you want an idea of the gap between the rich and the middle class, just Youtube Warren Buffet testimony to Congress from 2007 (I think). This is not a redistribution of wealth, but an attempt to make the tax burden more fair.
