Thank God for Mr. Lawrence O'Donnell for calling out Joe Scarborough about his (Joe's) false attacks on Speaker Pelosi. Mr. O'Donnell was "GREAT" as he made Joe eat his Republican talking points this morning. Hooray, hooray, hooray.

Good job Lawrence: What would we do if we didn't have you to completely discredit Joe and Pope Buchanan. If anyone says waterboarding is not torture and have never been waterboarded, they are complete frauds! On another point, I think President Obama should not be giving a speech at Notre Dame after the cover-up priest molestation scandal. What hypocrits!

I guess this is why Lawrence isn't a regular on Morning Joe any more. He makes them look like idiots every time he's on.

I guess the people who believe the CIA would never lie to Congress are the same ones who believed that the Pentagon would never lie to Congress.

My congratulations to Mr. O'Donnell. I'm sure he"ll be blasted for this. Did the CIA have similar problems with Iran-Contra and congress?

Mediamatters, we need to start a campaign to get rid or Joe Scarborough as soon as possible. MSNBC has tried to be like fox news before and it failed. Let MSNBC be MSNBC and have a reasonable progressive voice driving the discussions.

Doesn't it seem strange that we continue to obsess over this idiotic "torture memo" business (which has now morphed into an idiotic "torture briefing" business) on the very morning that Karl Rove is finally being subject to the investigation of the U.S. Attorney firings?

How can one noisy idiotic issue so cloud the radar screen, while the other issue just flies right under it?

I wish I had a sensible stick, so I could rap Democrats on the head with it.

And if this sounds off topic, and that in truth the subject here is "what did Nancy know and when did she know it", well then I guess I'm talking about "what do Democrats talk about, and why do they talk about it"... because it appears to me that Democrats are letting a lot of things just slide right by the boards, while this "torture memo" (and now "torture briefings") idiocy dominates our idiotic cable television talk... and I don't need to hear the wisdom cited, that we must dance to whatever tune it is that's playing: we can dance however we like, we don't need our movements dictated to us, we may dictate our own political discourse, we need not follow the discourse of others, when it is idiotic or perhaps even destructive...

Anyway, Karl Rove appears to be flying right under the radar this morning, and that seems a shame.

Sure, it's the media's fault for this, but then that just implies the media dictates our own words and thoughts: they don't, or at least they don't dictate my words and thoughts... which is why I choose to mention Karl Rove here this morning.

Don't be scared, but you and I have a Mind Meld on this.

I've been yelling at the TV for days now... I think all this Nancy Pelosi stuff is a deliberate distraction. In fact, I think the whole waterboarding issue is a distraction.

I'm not saying that it shouldn't be investigated or prosecuted, but it should be encompassed into a broader investigation of Bush/Cheney's bigger crimes.... like invading Iraq and draining the treasury to make their Crony Contractors filthy rich.

You're also right about Karl Rove. I didn't see the whole show, so I have to wonder.... did Morning Joe's Munchkins even mention Karl? I seriously doubt it.

Does Joe think if he just makes colorful remarks and continually speaks over his guests that their voices won't be heard?

When is Olbermann going to get around to making Scarborough the "Worst Person in the World"?

I wish he would, but he probably won't. MSNBC apparently has a rule against such internal sniping.

Whether you like Olbermann or not, he is an employee of MSNBC, and they pay him a sh*tload of money... so he's not likely to buck the system.

I've also never heard Joe take a shot at Olbermann, though I'm sure he disagrees with him on almost everything.

My respect for Lawrence O'Donnell jumped even higher than before and my respect for Joe is lower than ever. I agree that Joe is "trying" to mislead the American people. But, I can't believe that many Americans are accepting Joe's bull.

After watching Morning Joe for a couple of years, you will find that sometimes there are interesting perspectives. Joe is overbearing and disrespectful but has logic in some of his conservative views. Joe has been able to applaud some really good tactics of the Democrats that differ from the Republican Party and he is well advised in matters he has interest in. The lack of self control and puffiness that Joe oozes is a turn off. Joe should refine his news style to reflect his academics and debate ability and he'll be a force to be reconed with. I don't like his temperment for Mika and his suggestions that she is an alcoholic on public television at all. Joe objectifies Mika and I am not surprised that he does the same with Pelosi. But then again, America has shown Joe what his place is: He would be disgruntled, not only is he not is any position of the line for Presidency, he never will be.

MSNBC may think that they've got a good thing going here-it's disciplined confusion. The question is. are they speaking for the network? If so, the stories they cover will mirror what they produce.

There are very credible reports on the Morning Joe show and independently, without the bulllying Old Boys Network approach from Joe, could bring the news very academically. Joe is paid to perform. Stop paying for this idiocy and you can open new avenues of thought. Satyrical News, hahahhaa!
