I'm no particular fan of Pelosi, but this has nothing to do with gender. This comment by Swain just seems gratuitous.

Ms. Swain comment about Ms. Pelosi angers me.I have a 16 year old granddaughter, who view Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and Michelle Obama as making a positive impact on young teenage girls throughout the world. This is a disgrace that men and women of the media have been mislead to shift the torture issue towards Madame Pelosi. As I recall in June 2003, the CIA was under scutiny to justify the war against Iraq.Even Colin Powel was mislead about Iraq,as well as congress. Therefore, the attacks on Madame Speaker needs to stop. What makes the media and congress think that people have forgotten Iraq, torture, and media spinning stories? Our young teenagers remind us everyday how the media gets off message.

This has nothing to do with gender. Pelosi was briefed in Sept 2002, by the CIA's own admission they were using "EITs" in Aug 2002. The briefing was classified. Former Senator Bob Graham has come out and said that the CIA didn't brief him when they said they did, they retracted, and when they did finally brief him didn't mention water boarding. Why is it such a stretch to believe that if the CIA was wrong about when and how they briefed Graham, that the same didn't happen to Pelosi?

How stupid! The fact that she was even considered in a role that has been predominately male occupied gave a lot of credit to American ruling parties and Nancy. FOOL.

Swain obviously hasn't watched any of the Palin interviews during the campaign.
