It is remarkable to me how stupid these people are. Can they not see that the only thing keeping the media from talking about the real issue: EIT (exceptionaly illegal torture)is talking about Nancy Pelosi.

They are talking about when did she know that Bush/Cheney was breaking the law, why didn't she stop the two most powerful men in the world from breaking the law and insisting that her failure to keep those two misanthropes from breaking the law is more important than their having broken the law in the first place.

If Nancy Pelosi were to step down what else would we all be left to talk abouth other than if perhaps Dick Cheney and George Bush should be indicted.

Hannity wants a "special panel" for Pelosi's statements but doesn't want to know about illegalities on the Bush administration and their war crimes. Faux News....We report, you agree or else.

Wonder who they'd recomend as a replacement. A horridly fascinating and cringeworthy question.
On the other hand all our wunnafull pundits could be poled on the question. It might distract them for a while(a minor payback), till they all agree that Rush's right. Who ever he's right about this time.

On yet another "Special Edition" Hannity had Gingrich on who repeatedly called for Pelosi to step down. What a load a rap these 2 can put together and spin to the faithful haters

Huckabee's a sham. Plain and simple. He became a sham when he let his politics guide his religion instead of vice versa. That's all the talk he deserves.

Hannity's talk, though, bears some analysis. He's saying that the CIA puts itself in harms way all the time. It's true that some CIA agents do so. But the people Pelosi's accusing do not put themselves in harms way. They're the analysts, the people who process the information provided by those in harms way. There are plenty of points in the act of information processing at which someone, for some reason, can filter some of the info.

Hannity might as well be saying that she said all the troops are horrible people. What Pelosi said was that somebody behind a desk made a decision about what truths to hold back and that others went along with it. She left the 'why' unaddressed.

Also, if picking at CIA agents is a crime so horribly unjustifiable, then where was this talk during the Plame business?

Sean and the GOP want to oust Pelosi from her seat. The GOP want to regain power so bad, they are willing to steep to new lows.

If there should be any federal grand jury investigation, it should be on Fox News executives, Sean, Newt Gingrich, and Karl Rove. Birds of a feather, flock together.

Ending Pelosi's speakership isn't such a bad idea. Just not for the bogus reasons Hannity is talking about.

Perhaps I am being thick, but what exactly would the Republicans gain by Pelosi resigning? Why are the rightwingers so hell bent on destroying her?

I see your point, however these commentators don't seem to understand, most Americans like and trust this administration.

They have been yelling pejoratives (unrependent terrorist, facist, socialist, communist, Nazi,) to no avail. Honestly, I don't think Nancy Pelosi is going to lose the Speakership because of this junk.

They do it because it's all they know.

Expecting them to prop up the GOP another way is like expecting a plumber to do your heart operation.

Nancy Pelosi serves as the Speaker of the House at the pleasure of the Majority and alas, the Majority elected her and she will stay as Speaker until the Democrats lose the majority in the House or she resigns or Democrats replace her. And it is so strange that Republicans are so worried about what Pelosi knew and when she knew it and even went so far to say if she did not like the Bush torture of detainees, she should have stopped. it I always wonder as a former Republican why Bush, their own President, did not stop the illegal torture of detainees, nor was he asked to stop torturing by Republicans or newsies like Hannity etc. This bruhaha is a smokescreen put out by Republicans just to make humbug for Pelosi. I say she should just tell the Republicans to go fly a kite and continue doing what is best for the country. Ignore the creeps, Nancy!!!!!

i hate to be the one to break the news to you, but this already happened, on nov. 4, 2008. it's just been hollow-headed zombies, wandering aimlessly in the streets, since then.

Bush said the CIA lied and/or was misleading about Iran suspending their nuclear program, but heaven forbid a Democrat do the same thing. How are the Republicans going to reconcile this? You can't investigate when and how she was briefed about "EITs" without investigating what everyone else knew and when they knew it.

Obama should pull off the gloves and destroy the Bush era for the good of the nation. Please start hearings on torture and the lead up to a war that did not have to happen.

Americans are tired of the people who took 9/11 and made it an excuse to exercise an agenda that benefited their interest and destroyed our credibility around the world.

Pelosi and the Democrats have nothing to hide.

Torture being used by the Bush administration to try and link the people behind 9/11 to the invasion of Iraq will finally explain to the American people how sick these men were.

Your comments were far too rational for Republicans of this era. But, alas, your comments are absolutely correct on the facts. But sorry to tell you that Republicans will continue to lie and cheat about what happened in the torture arena because the entire legacy of the torturers in the Bush Administration is at stake. Nevertheless, we all know that many in the Bush Administration led so disgustingly by Veep Cheney are the ones who need sanctioning for the abuse ideas and definitely not Pelosi. We are just not going to fall for Republican bait and switch. I am too well informed about their goals by my former years in the party.

I recall Gingrich having some ethics problems. Anyway, Speaker Pelosi may have been shorted information, or is she in on it? Either way, isn't she smart enough to figure it out? She nor the others in the room, being briefed, said nothing. Cheney & Co. does a very good job. Is the CIA a clean organization? Need we go there? Hypertise,(hyper-advertise), and draw attention elsewhere. Who is up next week? Flip a coin, it does not matter.
The Chicken-Little Gang,(Congress), is the whole show. Will they do better, depending on the vote?
