Hoenig. Who is he again? Oh yeah, the guy who said it would be his freedom as an American to smash his own dog's head in against a wall.

Oh yeah! Now I remember him. Where he's attacked by that little dog, and then it jumps out the window? That was great. I still think "Something About Mary" was his best film to date.

You know, Media Matters rally ought to start a new version of the "Red Scare Index" to track all uses of "fascist," "Nazi," "fascism," etc. in the cable news networks.

Yeah, you'll note there were actually two fascist references in that brief exchange. Like Beck, Hoenig was referencing Pastor Niemoller's poem, "First they came..."

As mentioned above, Hoenig was stated that the government telling him he couldn't smash his dog's brains out as unwarranted government intrusion in his life.

"First they came for the animal abusers..."

I know my computer is not set-up for television, and this is not Saturday Night Live. Right? Mr. Hoenig is hypertising,(hyper-advertising), a far fetched possibility. Our government has stakes in the banks. Mr. Hoenig runs a private company, why is he up in arms? Oh, that is right. Less money for him.

I'd love to see someone ask these people how much they made last year. If he's got his panties in a not because suddenly he's going to be making 290k instead of 300k, then he can take a box of tissues to a corner and get over it.

Does it matter how much he makes? I don't care if he makes $200 million a year, it's not the public's business if he legally earned every penny.

That's for sure. He once advocated bombing Iran to boost stock prices.

Seems to me fascist Germany pretty much deregulated industry just like the republicans did. The only difference is republicans don't have a concentration camp to get their free workers from.

So tell me comrade Hoenig, how is it working for one of the biggest fascist noise outlets in the world?
