He hit that one on the head that's for sure. You can lump in Limbaugh, McCain, Romney, Huckabee, and a few others without too much problem.

I'm going to jump in here and say, Why is This Here? It's the truth, not right -ing misinformation.

I hope you're joking with your WITH question.

MMfA covers things that echo what they have said too, not just conservative misinformation.

        LuvLuLu,

I get the feeling that ETRW was trying to be factitious and not necessarily wondering why this item is here...

He does have a point in one respect... this is actually not misinformation as much as it is an expose on just how completely out of touch the Republicans have become...

So with that said... you are correct as well... MMfA does not only post misinformation... as postings of Olbermann, Maddow, and Schultz prove.

And now with that said... I would encourage MMfA to begin posting Stewart and Colbert as well? (I admit they are not technically media news... but lets face it... one can get more news from one hour of those two guys than 48 full hours of FoxNoise 'news'...

I agree! MMFA does not, "ONLY post misinformation". Yes, that may be their main stock and trade. But when they post complete-context or at least, more-complete-context-transcriptions they sometimes rise above the simple posting of misinformation. Yes ... I know what you're going to say ... they often draw from or ascribe to these transcripts conclusions that are simply not born out by the evidence they present. And I know that you're going to point out that far more often than not, what they do point out are often the kinds of errors that appear in the unscripted responses to questions that can be found in the responses of both sides. I know! But listen! The Left just isn't perfect! I wish I could say that it was, but it isn't. It's made up of human beings doing their best to try to understand and figure out solutions to the very complex challenges that this very complex world confronts us with. They do their best, some better than others, but like their opponents, they are only human.

Anyway, I agree, by all means they should post more from Olberman, Maddow and (I think I know who you mean by Schultz, I'm just less familiar). But Olberman and Maddow! You can be absolutely sure that when these sages speak not a single molecule of Right-wing bias has had any influence on one of these minds! I'm not so sure of Colbert or Stewart though. I have heard them blasphemously vear from the true line on occasion. Not often. And not far. But I'm not sure if even a tiny variation can be tolerated. Are you sure that we can trust them?

Thanks for the new strawman. When you find someone who is actually SAYING that the left is perfect be sure to get back to us and tell us who it is. Until then this constant straw refrain of yours is tired.

MMFA is not OBLIGATED to cover liberal media. Anymore than MRC or AIM is required to cover conservative media.

That's racism pure and simple, but societally accepted racism. It's ridiculous, although, to have him speaking as the face of the GOP. He's alienated more by coming out to speak to defend torture and made this dying party look even more out of touch.

Add to that he tortures people to justify a war in order for his rich friends to get richer. CNBC's Larry Kudlow is Dick Cheney's number one fan and appreciates all he does to help his rich friends get richer. I guess these folks never read in their Judeo Christian Bible that rich guys never get to heaven so have your fun now before it is too late.

68, white and bitter, he is the face of the Republican party

I'm sick of hearing the "Republican big tent" lie.

Danger times 2! First - I find myself almost forced to not disagree with easytorefutewingnuts, a novel experience for me. (note I said, "almost.")
In reflecting on this important story I asked myself, "If Cheney is the face of the Republican Party, who would be the face of the Democratic Party?" I might consider Senator William Byrd to be the "face" of the Democratic Party, 90+ and a former Grand Klaxun of the Klu Klux Klan. Or maybe Teddy Kennedy, patron of the Democrat's most illustrious dynasty whose epitaph will include that he left a woman to drown while he contacted his attorney to see how he should control the controversy. Maybe it should be Nancy Pelosi whose husband appears to have made a few extra million on development deals she had influence over, (notice, I'm not mentioning her current little problem that MMFA has already denounced as a non-issue). I have given Vice President Biden serious consideration. After all, Gaff-a-day Joe really does symbolize the great intellectual superiority displayed by the Democratic Party and its Leftist allies. Who can forget the Vice Presidential debate when he embarrassed that know-nothing incompetent from Alaska by referencing the United Nations action in which the United States, allied with the French, drove Hezbollah out of Lebanon? (She didn't even know that had happened, she's so ignorant!) Maybe it should be the keen instincts of a Congressman like Barney Frank who's so on top of things he instinctively knew better than to recognize the prostitution business carried out under his own roof, or who provided Banking oversight so sagacious that he could reassure America that Freddie and Fannie were sound, in no danger and in no need of reform. The field of candidates is so rich. Barak's famous fiscal responsibility, Bill's great respect for the truth, Hillary's history of supporting bi-partisan respect, Maxine Water's stalwart defense of the free-enterprise system, Cristopher Dodd's famous refusal to accept special favors from the corporations he was regulating, it's just so hard to choose!

Then it hit me! Roger Simon! Roger is the PERFECT face for the Democratic Party. In assessing a man who served his country as a Congressman, an Administration advisor and a Vice President all he can see is his age, his race and Roger's own assumption that anyone who disagrees with his side must do so out of some groundsless motivation like bitterness! Behold, my friends! THIS-IS-YOU in a nutshell!

Second - (I promised a second danger) ... Cut off at the end of his statement so that MMFA could share the important words of the "Face of the Democratic Party" - Roger Simon, is one of the people you should really learn to hate, Michael Medved, author of the Ten Greatest Lies About America among many other books. Michael is truly a leader of the ignorant zombie-like brainlessness of illogic and stupidity that misinforms the yammering sheep and corporate pawns that comprise the barely litterate hate factory called the Conservative movement in America and one of its many spokesmen. It's odd that I don't see him attacked more often here ... MMFA, are you slipping?
