      Who even uses insults like that anymore? But not surprised, I expect rightwingers to throw insults, they are sooooo much more effective than actual debate....

        Please Dennis, The only thing more dated then your political science experiment is your 80's kitsch vernacular.I don't know what time the show airs, but your face and your incite are fighting to be crowned as the 'five o'clock shadow'. Not to mention, The sunset in the background is some great symbolism for the Republican Party. If I muffle my ears it sounds like one of those talking parrots from Walgreen's squawking top five titty jokes into the cavernous skull of Bill, and you know that's his bag too.. I can literally hear Carlos Mencia's weekend writing staff repairing the teletype so you don't stutter over their words again. Only liars and nervous entertainers stutter on air buddy. And by the way... Nancy wasn't alone onstage when you heard a thousand boos, you were.

          I can see where people like you would find Bill Maher unfunny. Just for grins, though, lets apply the standard you guys use to defend Troglodyte Talk Radio.

          Who has had a more successful career... Bill Maher or Dennis Miller? No, it doesn't prove which one is funnier, but ratings also don't prove that Right Wing Talk Radio is superior to Left Wing Talk Radio.

      Dennis Miller has found a platform for obscure references. Whoop-ti-do! It is not comedy, when lambasting only one side. His nerd-humor falls short of real insight. Giggle fodder, for the right. Feed a lapdog and he will perform.

        Dennis Miller has found a platform for obscure references.
        Miller didn't, his writers did. Ever since his head writer Rick Overton departed, Miller is left repeating derivatives of Overton's best lines, and delivering them in a way that suggests he never understood them, either.

      Hey, Dennis... time for a new gimmick. Even Steve Martin dropped his banjo routine and moved on.

      I think a comic has to be truly brilliant to get away with the same schtick over and over. George Carlin, Bill Cosby, Don Rickles (to name a few) successfully maintained the same basic formula over long careers, but Miller isn't even in the same league as those guys.

      His cynical, thesaurus-wielding scold wears thin after a very short while. He's a one-joke pony.

      I think Dennis uses those big words to cover up that he is nobody.
      Where did he come from. He's another person Fox hires who has no right being on the air. Like Gingrich and North. The get on the air so they came spew BS about the Democrats. They are nobody's like Bill. Who try to convince the idiots that watch Fox that the Republicans are not so bad. Any body that watches Fox better check their wallets. If they wonder where all of the money went, it went to all the Friends of Fox. The ones who took the first bailout money and ran with it. If you don't make 250,000 a year and you are a Republican you better wake up.

      that attempt at a joke in the beginning by miller was TERRIBLE. this is what happens when you are a failed comedian... you go to the oreilly factor and make jokes that dont land so that an old white man can laugh to make you feel better.
