Contrary to media hype, Sarah Palin is very unpopular
The only way he will cease to be the 'titular head of the Republican Party' is when his show shuts down for good and he fades away. Somehow, I do not envision that occurring for a long time unless he upps his cheeseburger consumption rate or his kidneys fail him.
By the way, can you say "titular" on the radio?
Most times saying 'titular' (12) in a six minute period.
RNC Chair Michael Steele is the titular head of the party. He bears the title. He is therefore the "titular" head.
You, Rush, are the de facto head of the Republican Party. And much to the dismay of the Republican Party, you will not be permitted to resign. You're too useful where you are, so you might as well get comfortable.
And to think Rush is so much smarter than the rest of the world
Here's a story to bite on: I was once a liberal just like you freaks. I thought Obama was the Second Coming and Rush Limbaugh was a hate-monger, an extremist, the Anti-Christ. Every time he came on, I turned him off. But one day -- a slow news day -- I actually listened. I realized he was right. The media WAS in bed with Obama. He WAS a socialist. He would NEVER help our country for the better.
Where am I today? I'm now a member of Rush 24/7. I hear him every day. And I'm well informed and know what I'm talking about, unlike any of you.
Keep that in mind, then give me an honest review.

On another subject, Republicans seem to be giving him control over truth. For at least 17 years (by my account), he's been telling his listeners, "I'll tell you what to believe."
Is this why he doesn't do interviews (youtube the last time he was on Letterman)? Some just blindly follow. They're not Dittoheads, they're sheep.
First it was Obama: "I want Obama to fail." Now it's Colin Powell
I wish his cry for help was listened to, and nobody would mention his name for a week.
Further, his two biggest outrages were against respected, intelligent black leaders. Most people were outraged - but Limabaugh knows his audience, and he knows who he is reaching.
Sepsis is setting up for upcoming elections. The conservatives will be losing seats, and office, in the 2010, 2012, elections. The media is too focused on what he is saying vs. what he is planning.

Micheal, "Eunuch" Steele is the shill republicans will blame for failure. Good plan. The, "I told you so," will be ringing in everyone's ears in 2010. In 2012, it will be Eunuch's fault and Powell not in office, but will be lynched as well. That right, lynched! Those fools that can not see past the lies, are the problem. The op-ed guys and dolls are too scared of Sepsis & Co. to move efficiently. That is, so last century.
