Mika was off the rails this morning. She's quickly becoming another Republican talking points robot.

Never liked her. She's just another typical bimbo who's quickly greasing her way to Fox. When dummy Scarborough's show gets canned Mika will end up on Fox. You watch.

And Ed kicks serious ass! His show must definitely go on!

I like Ed, too. I never catch his show, because it's over by the time I get home from work. I think they replay it in the middle of the night, but I always miss it. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and get TIVO.

Maybe they'll give Ed the morning slot after Joe and Mika go home to FOX.

I like "The Ed Show" and have watched it since it started. Ed is fearless and a hardnose for facts. I hope MSNBC keeps it around for a while.

She is now a Scarborough groupie, a ditto head who is memorized by the often spurious and fact-challenged arguments of her colleague. On some days, she morphs into Gretchen before our eyes as if they are consulting from the same talking points.

Seems to me that Mika has no soul at all. She used to try reel in the guys when they were jerking their knees. now she just rolls with them. I bet if she was on with Olberman, She'd agree with him almost all the time.

Please note Joe's repeated use of the Straw Man fallacy in an attempt to put Ed on the defensive.

Did Pelosi call the CIA a "pack of liars"? I don't think so. Have "other Democrats" actually said that the CIA "has a habit of lying" to Congress? Not that I've heard. All I've heard them say is that the CIA has lied before, and that Republicans have also accused the CIA of lying.

Joe is the real liar in this instance.

Joe is not a liar. He merely has an estranged relationship with facts when it counters his argument.

Mika's responses to Ed were totally lame. He owned the lot of them.

I guess it takes 4 people to hammer home the GOP playbook. 3 on 1 did not work as well. It was sickening how they gang tackled Shrummy the other day. Real objectivity there. I love how Mika complained that the Pelosi story wasn't on front page when it was on WaPo when she could not counter Ed's argument. I guess she is just being an objective journalism when regurgitating Joe's arguments. She has truly benefited from Joe's tutelage. As I've said, she has morphed into a Scarborough groupie, a dyed-blond best remembered for shameless plugs of his book.

Ed also made clear the gang's bogus claim to speaking truth to power. Anyone who has followed this story-- including several Politico articles-- knows that the Pelosi attack is right out of the GOP playbook. Isn't is always fascinating how they revert to "Dems I've spoken to" instead of concrete examples? Halperin should read the Swampland of his own magazine since the Pelosi story has evolved beyong "she is lying." Halperin's complaint also reminds me of his complaint that Obama's makeup was terrible during the third debate. Real tough journalism there.

      Great job again, MM.

Interesting observation. Ed was trying to engage her on the substance of the story, and she's whining about the pagination of the NYT.

The sad thing is that Mika once spoke out against Gitmo and torture. Now she is reduced to defending Cheney, waterboarding and calling Rush a "great thinker." I guess she would call it evolving, though others might term it devolving.

Some would call it auditioning for a job at FOX and a bigger paycheck.

I have always thought Mika was a waste on that show. She looks in the camera more than she makes any good points. Thank goodness her DaD is an intellectual giant because she sure is not. What a joke. She needs to go on Fix News and join gang for comedic relief.

The bush administration was willing to throw Tenet under the bus and blame the CIA for all the bad intelligence. Now suddenly, the gop is the CIA's staunchest defender? I don't hear anybody challenging Bob Graham's assertion that his calendar shows that the CIA version of the briefings is erroneous.

The best thing about this is the republican blinders to their own hypocrisy. Six months ago, when Bush was still in power, this was all too secret and spooky to even talk about. Now they want 'truth commissions' so it 'can all be brought out'?

With no real ideas for moving forward, all the right has left is good old 'us v. them'. They are really good at that but whole thing is a football game to them. As they continue to be abandoned by people who actually use their minds, the name callers is all they will have left.

We should use a republican argument on this one. We can't have it "all come out" because it would EMBOLDEN the terrorists.

I think that Mika is really a liberal republican because her views often coincide with joes views. But today she seemed angry. Ed Schultz you may disagree with torture but to call Guantanamo a quote Museum of Torture is not right.
