The really fearful part is that Cheney's approval numbers are inching up. I'm sure that's due to lost Troglodytes glomming onto the first piece of Republican debris that floats by. I guess to them, Darth Cheney represents some kind of Second Coming... bsck from the political tomb to re-establish Karl Rove's Thousand Year Republican Majority.

Better yet, since Dick doesn't look like he's going to stop yammering anytime soon, I'd like to see him run for president in 2012 (I mean it's not like the GOP haven't run an old white man for the job before).

Instead of playing it safe by making the rounds on TV and preaching to the choir, I think Dick needs to meet the great unwashed. Let the voters decide between him and Obama. Let him run on his record as VP.

His massive loss at the polls would end any guessing about what Americans actually think of him and might even put a fire under moderate Republicans to, at long last, take back their party.

        Republican debris...

Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, all parts of the republican party that ran aground last November. Is there ANY republican currently holding office getting more air time than any of these three?

Yeah, there's a party that's in full control of it's future.

You know, now that you mention it, Gingrich and Cheney have pushed Boner and Cantor off the stage. Definitely not a good sign for the party.
