Fox's Hemmer responds to Sotomayor nomination with sexism: "She is reportedly domineering in oral arguments"

'A piece in the New Republic... that cited a lot of unnamed sources..'

Then it's not worth mentioning.

'She can get bogged down in marginal details.'

That's what you're supposed to do in the legal business.

All in all, pathetic journalism. Also, Megan Kelly's always talks like the sky's falling. Hers is a much more insidious form of propaganda. 'Be afraid of this woman!'

I guess you can repeat any slander on someone by putting the word "reportedly" in front of it.

That said, Hemmer is reportedly a pedophile. I don't know if it is actually true or not, but I read it somewhere...I don't remember where.

The whole tone of Fox News today is bordering on hysteria. Hemmer quotes three awfully hostile views of Sotomayor. These people at Fox are acting like the country is about to expire because Obama has nominated a left of center nominee. I would love to compare and contrast Fox News' tone today with the days Roberts and Alito were nominated. Something tells me the title of that compare and contrast would be "Giddy VS Gloomy:3 years, 3 nominees, 2 different attitudes"

Add hispanics to that list of americans the right wing is throwing out of the party en masse. Besides David Duke, who's left that the right will support?
