Williams says "some conservatives" defended Sotomayor's comments on policy coming from bench as "stating the obvious"

Once again, we have "some say" used to try to make one think that there is a group of people with the same opinion.

Logically, the word "some" only means "at least one." And the ones mentioned here are anonymous as well.

Name the names, or don't try to push the "some say" bogus tactic.

If only the rest of the coverage of this process could be so calm and even-handed.
