      The President has every right to appoint the candidate of his choice to the Supreme Court. Guess what? Few of you may not like his decision, but his Presidency does not mean up to the minute diclosure to you either. The President is well aware of the doctrine and theory that he is looking for in a candidate because (remember) he has "looked over" the Constitution. Did I say "looked over" I meant to say that the President is rooted in Constitutional Law. To even make it to the level of the Supreme Court, the basis has to be a violation of Constitutional Privelege. Meanwhile, it is not within your or my ignorance to manipulate him into thinking that he owes us a definition and explanation for his every decision. Are you saying that he is not capable or is media making decisions based on the President's strategy's regarding wealth distribution and African American appointees in other areas of government. Is the upset so that the President won't appoint an African American. THe President who serves us is one who would appoint a Rep is that individual was right and the best candidate for the job. You can beleive that!

        Talk about your OWN ignorance you dont really know about ours. YES he does. The President of the United States works for ME and YOU. He is a public servant. He is NOT a king. The CITIZENS are the top layer of government here. We are not subjects. When he stops being president it is a PROMOTION to citizen. HE works for US, WE dont work for him so he darn sure DOES owe us whatever explanations we as a people demand.

      Fred still has his undies in a bunch about Thomas. If he turned on his other brain cell he might have to admit Bush1 needed that hyperbole to try to overcome the stink Thomas came with 'even before Anita Hill'. It is entirely possible, I suppose, in the small world of the Bushies that Thomas was the most qualified....

      I think history has demonstrated that Thomas was not, indeed, the "most qualified"... not even close. Some would say his critics have been proven right.

      Why is Kelly touting those facts? That's certainly unlike that network. I thought Fox viewers' motto is....
      'Proud Fox viewer, taking pride in ignorance'.

        This is two weeks in a row that she has actually pretended to be a real journalist.... I'm impressed. My guess is that she will be fired if she keeps this up.
