      Hey Mr. vanguard of intellectualism,
If you start your blabbing with what Rush told you to say about empathy, it doesn't matter how even-handed you try to make yourself sound. He HAD to get it in, diddn't he? I can hear the same dittohead bull at just about any bar, even on the left coast. At least Matthews called him out.

Ok, as if house pets are the only ones deserving of empathy. This man's sarcasim or ability to be quick witted on his feet is no merit to conflict resolution. If he has other qualities that would relate to a more rational decision for the choice of a candidate then surely he should be allowed a microphone. I could hurl insults and smart renditions of simulated intelligence at him as well. But-at the end of the day, I will still have to resign with saying that all other President's who had been afforded the opportunity to appoint a SCJ to the bench did it based on their conclusions and particulars of the candidates qualities. The same as happening here. After spending enough time on this issue, realizing he and no one he knows will influence it, he should call Anderson Cooper for a real news story. Maybe get a lead or take off in other areas of Republican taxes that increased and still allowed a trillion dollar deficit with no return to the American people for their trust and investment. How about commenting on those infamous "pardons." Maybe this Supreme Court Justice will know the implications of the Constitutional violations of invading countries. Best be lucky that the President has chose to not prosecute the Bushies. So without further ado, don't let real issues he should be commenting on come to light. That last pet was a ferocious alligator.

If you think temperament isn't relevant, just look at Scalia and Thomas. Need I say more?
