Hey, dyspeptic hick dude! You're sociopathic... you're out!

(Did he really say "emphatic" instead of "empathic?" Video streaming is blocked here at work.)

Oh just let him rip no matter what he says. The new nominee will be approved and by a big majority is my guess. There will be sufficient disgusting racist comments from Republicans (I know this because I am a Republican although I voted for Obama) and all this hate mongering has been filtered down to us by the Party. I am out of the party when I get a chance to re-register. Sadly, most of the Republican rhetoric has nothing to do with this judge originally appointed by President H. W. Bush. Perhaps her comments on the perspective of a Latina women was too much for Republican men to absorb OR on the other hand, perhaps their label for it is just showing their deep seated racism. For many Republicans like me, if the party insists on vilifying this woman who incidentally just happens to be Hispanic, we women moderates will leave the party in droves and not only us but droves of Latinos will probably join the rush. Obviously, Republicans enjoy their minority status because it will get far worse if they harass this well prepared and qualified nominee.

Hey, MMFA, Beck actually does say "empathetic", not "emphatic".As drunk as he sounds, I was expecting him to use the wrong word, but he got it right. You don't need to make him sound any more stupid than he does on his own.

For those who can stomach it(if it's rerun ), there was a Beck show on Fox over the weekend that was pretty interesting.I don't think it was his usual behind-the-desk studio show, he had a studio audience made up of a few Fox regular talking heads, and what appeared to be regular Fox folks(audience).

A lot of real insight into the minds of those who get their info. from the mainstream conservative media, the questions and comments from the peanut gallery were all about the paralyzing fear that has been programmed into these Real Americans, regarding the disastrous direction they've been told our country is taking.

A highlight was Beck using his big chalkboard (he was sort of in teacher mode) to draw an eagle with 3 heads representing the branches of Government, and a right and left wing.He then modified the heads and wings to show the disproportionate sizes they've all taken on in the past few months.

Another highlight was Beck's dramatic telling of the story of Paul Revere, to a group of people who would have probably had Revere arrested as a terrorist if they'd been there.

Ed, Col, & neon why did we not read your comments regarding Beck's interview with the president of Georgia? I really wanted to see what you all thought about it. But nothing yet the Veiw show comments went on & on. I am still outraged over that interview. I think he would love it if another country bombed us while on Obama's watched so he can say "Told you So." He as much as told Saakashvili
not to trust the President of the USA. The country that Beck loves so much he cries when talking about it. I think he is close to if not guilty of treason.

      Glenn,
You are living in 2009, not 1969. That "Hispanic chick lady" graduated from Princeton and got her law degree from Yale and was appointed by GHWB. I know, to you she is just a PC pick but look at her resmue. It is no Harriet Miers but she has a few credentials.

Comment on another site this morning:

Wingnuts are calling her the "affirmative action, free ride" nominee. She went to Princeton & Yale. That's the most expensive free ride I've ever heard of.

I bet they don't say the same thing about Thomas, who was given his education due to affirmative action, you know, the same policy that they, and Thomas, both oppose.

Maybe you should read into why he is opposed. Like most, many believe that we should be "fair". This is 2009 and not 1969 as another user stated above.

Shouldnt it go a little bit farther than credentials and her work history? Why not consider if she makes decisions based feelings or law? Why not consider her principles? Looks like Glenn Beck is.

Limbaugh's vocabulary reminds me of a foster child I had when I lived in Canada. The young woman continually used words that she murdered on pronunciation. His problem is that he uses words that he actually does not seem to understand how good usage should be employed. All hot air and no substance.

Let's keep in mind here that Mr. Beck's daughter has cerebral palsy. It's always pleasant to hear such a man mocking the effort to grant the disabled equal opportunities.

Since we allow hispanic chick ladies to clean our homes and watch our children and do our grocery shopping......... why would they not be good in intelligent processes? Me, I have an income of 69.00 a month- I do my own laundry. :) But she may have something to say about the Latina culture and virtues and she may even be underrepresented in other areas of America but largely populate America. When we were accessing their "natural resources" we had no problem with the "latinas". Do you say we mess up the N S because there has been a hault to all of this underhandedness? Now there will really be innovation and work ethic. We will have to reinvent ourselves and some of you don't think you can.

If he's not drunk I've never had a drink!!! Maybe he is still substituting Nyquil for the booze.

      hey Glenn Call your sponsor

“Rarely have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our path. Those who do not recover are people who cannot or will not completely give themselves to this simple program, usually men and women who are constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves. There are such unfortunates. They are not at fault; they seem to have been born that way. They are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigorous honesty. Their chances are less than average. There are those, too, who suffer from grave emotional and mental disorders, but many of them do recover if they have the capacity to be honest.
