Walsh and Matthews slam Rosen's smear article on Sotomayor

Walsh says: "The worst thing about that article ... was that Jeffrey actually admitted himself, 'I have not read enough of her decision to have a strong opinion one way or another on her qualifications.' Then what the hell are you doing writing in The New Republic or anywhere, for that matter? It was a terrible article. He's going to need to dial it back. ... He will be ashamed of it for the rest of his life."

Matthews suggests Rosen should "re-examine the facts" and "get some on-the-record quotes."
